Managed to get through really easy at 10:00, but yeah it went kind of fast. I'm going to keep an eye out on the Slugfest Emporium the rest of the day now haha.
Regret not putting in a preorder for the PX Hellboy, didn’t watch the film but the figure looked sick. Might buy the regular release since reviews are positive and I like the design. In other news, one12 day was today, so: Apologies for the dust...
Thanks! That one is the Gold Skull Ninja, that went up for sale around 'SDCC' with the Golden Ninja Gomez. I love those magnetic holders they include sometimes, hangs easy on the Detolf metal.
I was lucky enough to snag a couple on "round 2". Now just waiting only somewhat patiently for them to ship lol
The last minute place I found, called Cotswold Collectibles, says they just it their shipment of KGBeast. Seems I’ll finally get my hands on it. website seems legit if anyone else has been looking and wants to give them a try. Hopefully they have some extras
I really wish Mezco would make their exclusives 'to order' similar to how tamashii nations does because god damn man, everything they do that is their own original work is basically what interests me and yet they're all nearly impossible to purchase
I dont have a gomez, and not sure I will ever get one to be honest as a roach doesn't fully interest me; but the stuff they do with the skulls i like the looks of. I only have been able to get a doc nocturnal so far but I would definitely buy more based on the enjoyment I get from that figure even.
That's a good one, Doc Nocturnal was one of my favorite figures of all last year. Just great and a packed release. I even liked the extras like the comic and the wax pack cards. Just a great package.
First time I ever heard someone wish a company would handle distribution the same way Bandai does. Tells a lot about Mezco.
Phhtt.. When did Mezco become like Bandai DX pre-order madness, limited to Japan only and that we have to resort to proxies getting our orders.. Mezco Toys is like "Let's do want ever we want and hopefully it sells", plus they don't have to deal with HG shinanagins at all and the CEO swiping all the money to support his/her gambling habits.
Mezco absolutely loves the 'damn I wish I ordered that!' feel of their figures. They did basically limited open preorders for stuff like Keaton Batman and Reeves Superman but very limited otherwise. I don't mean to speak ill or make fun of him; but I met Mez at SDCC and he basically looked like an advertisement for Supreme clothing. This is EXACTLY what he wants from the company.
For someone like that, you start to wonder how many “aftermarket” sales are coming straight from the source. Sell enough product to make a decent profit and guarantee you don’t ever have overstock, then sell the rest and overly inflated prices to boost that profit exponentially.
Tamashii Nations does the web exclsuives right. (What toys end up being web exclusives is subjective.) Thats about it really, everything else blows up in their face...
Haha yeah and agreed. Just funny either way. There have been a couple TWE fiascos but for the most part, they work out well.
His employees would blow the whistle if that was the case. Not exactly a happy family over there. Also, the waitlist wouldn't exist.
