Yep, that's definitely what I'd call 'Thundercracker blue'! Wonderful looking figure. Hopefully they ace Skywarp's distinctive cool lavender just as much

I was kinda looking forward to that washed out blue. Shame but I guess this is still nice.

These 3 will be my first and last set of MP Seekers.

I wonder if Takara will ever tackle the coneheads again?.

I’m very glad I already sold my MP-11 trio. Might not want to go all-in on the new mold, but I’m at least getting Starscream and Thundercracker.

Actually @Sam I got that mixed up - it was epacket free 15-30 days or Showz standard 6 USD 12-days. Seems similar for other Euro countries

I will likely repurpose all my MP-11s as my supersized CHUG collection instead of selling everything for $30 each.

I imagine he'll be made, but I feel like it'll be a 2022 or 2023 release. They still gotta make Skywarp after all. I'm sure they'll make Sunstorm too. But I feel the Rainmakers will be those mall exclusives they like to make every once in a while.

Yes but was that a test shot or a 3D printed and painted version? I think this Thundercracker is the first test shot we have seen. Because of the small differences that I pointed out. I think the Starscream figure we saw earlier was the same one that was photographed for the marketing shots and it's a 3D printed, sanded and painted prototype. Not a test shot. Which is why it does not have the changes required for tooling, sinkholes in the feet etc.

I'm not seeing that much of a difference in the blue on Thundercracker between the marketing shots and the in-hand shots. It's most likely just the lighting. I'm not sure why people are so much happier with that tiny change. But I guess I should be used to that by now. :)

I know you said you're a fan of Acidstorm so I don't want to be too negative, but I don't believe any seeker that wasn't a main character in the toon will be made because the prices are too high these days for many repaints. I don't believe we will see that many repaints of MP-44 Prime V3 either for the same reason. That's most likely why MP-10 was used for the Ghostbusters repaint. I believe that's one of the reasons Prime V3 was so expensive. I think Takara is choosing to go with higher prices and less repaints.

For me it was free @ 15-30 days or around €5 @ 12-20 business days... Which is round and about the same, so I went cheapskate. ;)

Always thought it was pretty self explanatory that MP11 was 1.5 since it\'s the same fig with updates.

Just like Destiny 2 is still Destiny 2 even though it\'s mosly DLC content now lol

Question for fellow old timers: When Hasbro MP Thundercracker came out in 2012 and MP-11T came out in 2015, did the resale on MP-7 plummet? Every time I looked, it was still fairly expensive.

I like that his back is cleaned up, but I feel the body needs more bulk.

Relatively minor issue, but nice to see these guys have something approaching an MP-10 style neck rather than just the thin peg of MP-11.

Can see the relative thickness of the piece in this shot, even if it is in shadow:

No thanks. Still dislike this mold. Giant diaper, huge backpack, missing tailfins in bot mode and overall too puffy and looks like a Pat Lee designed Marshmallow Man. I\'ll stick to the perfectly good Hasbro MP Thundercracker I have.
And for this much money I\'d have expected maybe a waist articulation???
