Many people lost interest after TMT announce maybe? But it’s strange that there isn’t a single review. Usually there’s atleast one or two reviews done by small channels on YT

I think the main reason is that the chosen prime is selling him at $230 for the deluxe (only one in stock) when overseas its much cheaper. I think reviewers may be waiting for the overseas release. (Showz btw, still has nothing on a release). I may have loved freedom leader, but no way would I pay the US prices for TW stuff.

I lost interest in this when I transformed Freedom Leader for the first time.

Amazing what a bit of extra mass can do for the in-hand feel of something. After all, a couple of the ~$17 total BoM for Beats by Dre headphones went into some otherwise pointless metal fillers in the band just to make them feel more premium. Lead probably would have been cheaper (and more effective) but there's some seriously negative perceptions of that stuff floating around.

Just got mine today and the movie quotes take this to the top of my favorites list. The shelf presence is awesome too. Have all 3 of the Knight Primes and this is where it’s at!

I can give you a summary of the Chinese review.

    1. The TW version on the left, and UT version on the right.
    2. He's not going to say which is better or worse, but he recommends that if you intend to transform and play with it, get the UT version.
    3. Get the TW if you like something complex. It's more than just a toy.
    4. It very beautiful to look at and very detailed. The battle damage in the paint also allows any paint chipping to blend in with it. So paint chipping doesn't bother him at all.
    5. The back of the figure looks good too. He says both of them look great from behind, but TW is obviously more detailed.
    6. The UT version has a better butt flap.
    7. Shows off the detail in the leg. I THINK he says the symbols are carved into it.
    8. Head also looks great and you can switch the face. Comes with an extra head that can also switch from face to mask. He doesn't like the look of the extra head. Looks like a monkey or a chimp. I think it also comes with a 3rd head? He's saying the paint is in the wrong part of the head, but it's no big deal.
    9. As he's showing off the shield, he says he bought the regular version because the deluxe version was too pricy. The regular version comes with 2 shields. No difference other than the size.
    10. Shows off the daggers (2 of them), gun, and swords (2 of them). The daggers and swords are incredibly detailed. He finds the gun a little small for a figure of this size.
    11. The figure is shorter than the UT Megatron. Whether you like it or not is up to personal preference.
    12. He also compares it to a figure called MBC(?) just for the heck of it.
    13. He shows off how to plug in all the accessories.
    14. He basically shows off the degrees of movement on the figure. Things to note is that some of the joints were a little too tight. The elbow cover moves and allows different poses with the arms without leaving a gap. Waist swivel can cause the abs to untab, but if you hold onto the abs and turn, it's no problem.
    15. Long transformation sequence. He stresses how complicated it is. Gotta adjust the angles just right. He complains about being tired several times. Quite a few struts inside are die-casted.
    16. He compares it to the TakaraTommy and UT Primes. The paint job is hands down the best of the 3.
    17. The truck bed also fills out better than the UT version. Same with the bottom.
    18. He says this is not a toy. The transformation is hellish, but the "area tech" (or whatever, I couldn't quite make out what he's saying) is much worse. He does like it a lot.
    19. The top of the cab is diecast.
    20. TT's truck mode is definitely more accurate. UT version is a little tall. The TW version is a little flatter and closer to the official toy.
    21. The flames look good in the truck mode and lots of detail on the tires.
    22. Stresses again that he really likes the figure despite the difficult transformation. Takes a lot of practice, but once you get the hang of it, it's enjoyable.
    23. It's a bit pricy, but there's a regular and deluxe version. He says the price in Taiwanese currency, so I have no clue how that is.
    24. He says you need to be patient with the transformation. It would be a shame if you break it.

Edit - This is just my personal thought, and not the reviewer's. The engineering is pretty damn impressive even if the transformation is difficult. I wish they put as much thought into the Freedom Leader toy, cause the Bay version of Optimus is my least favorite.

Did the screw sheer? Or the plastic crumbled? Sorry, must be getting old, can't make out what happened.

What do you mean? The guy in the video? I'm not very knowledgeable on the nuances, but my guess is he's Taiwanese since he gave the price in Taiwanese currency. The Taiwanese mandarin has some differences, but I'd say it's 95% similar. That said, I don't know what some of the Taiwanese variants sound like.

Yeah, that straight up looks like the post fractured off. The good news is that it should be very easily fixable, but it's disappointing that it happened at all. Could be an indication of contaminants in the plastic, or possibly air bubbles given the patterning. At least, I'm hoping it's one of those two since they would most likely represent just an unfortunate circumstance, rather than a systemic issue.
