The yellow is much better this time around correct? Is all the yellow one colour of molded plastic that shines in different shades of yellow / gold or are there yellow and gold molded parts? It seams to be some sort of shiny / flaky material. Hopefully GPS free

Due to the cheaper production price of repaints, is there any chance of new included accessories like the gut gun?

 

Non of the previous Netflix Deluxes have additional accessories compared to the originals so I doubt it.

Cheetor has much better , more orangeish and model accurate yellow plastic. almost metallic
The metallic blue is beautiful as well.
But they didnt paint the axe blue section and the shin.
Regardless I like both Cheetor , but will ultimately display Netflix cheetor in bot mode.

His fur is much darker , his brain is same color as his fur. His teeth is not painted silver.
He is just a bonus to the 2 pack. But not worth getting if you already have core class Rattrap

God damn, so it has even less paint apps than the standard release? Not counting the spots, that leaves his entire lower section in both modes bereft of paint.

Somebody must've been listening during the "Silver Chariot" descriptions of Paleotrex back when.

I'd definitely prefer this shade of yellow as well, and I'm also a fan of metallic colours, so I guess this is a win for me.

I already had an urge to paint the edges of Kingdom Cheetor's axe blade silver if I ever got him. In a way this works for me. I'll just paint the whole blade silver.

As for the shins, I always found it a bit odd to have a cheetah with a massive chunk of blue on the back of his legs (let's ignore all the other stuff about giant animals turning into robots - even though giant cheetahs had existed at one time. ) . If they're going for a more accurate beast mode it makes a kind of sense, though I wish they'd painted more spots on the lower cheetah legs like the MP.

I have to admit I was at first thrown off by the lack of blue on the lower robot legs, but putting together all the positive points (IMO):
- more 'orange' yellow + metallic blue.
- apparently more accurate cheetah mode (I like the new white details on the beast face)
- green beast mode eyes
(- no guilt at having to paint over an already painted blue section on the weapon )

I'm thinking this is the Cheetor to go for.

That said, I'm so glad I didn't buy Cheetor quite yet and I'm super looking forward to the Netflix version. Yay for toys!

I'm sure that its not the flakey plastic that will break over time

They might've also fixed the left side of the neck being too thin but the sample size of two people may not represent every copy

Metallic eye paint is a nice detail, thank you for mentioning it. Bet it looks gorgeous

 

So is Cheetor packed in with Ironhide? Or is Netflix Cheetor his own release? How is the Primal that Rattrap is packed with different?

I'm really hoping the "spoiler" is Megatron takes on the purple Trex form and his deco (plus the translucent Paleo) is symbolic of scanning the fossil.

So like a purple/green WfC Megaton that you can kit out with Paleo to look like BW Megs...
