I will be getting Fasttrack to round out the citybot weaponizers (already have Sixgun, Brunt, and Cog), and plan to use Fasttrack to arm and armor up other figures in the same vein. Though It doesn't look like his parts are as easy to pass off as weapons or armor compared to the other weaponizers. However, I don't have Scorponok (or any other cityformer) and don't really intend on getting any of them due to space and budget constraints, and lack of interest in citybots in general. I do have Titan class combiners such as Devastator and Predaking though. How well can the other Titan class figures (be they citybots or combiners) hold Fasttrack as a spear?

I love that idea of using Fasttrack's backpack as a shield. Very creative. Gives a use for that little dagger he has, which I found kinda dorky. Also got to do that combination with Slitherfang one day too.

Why do you have nine Slitherfangs? Lol.

How do you apply the glue on the gun peg without it being messy? It looks like it will be tricky to do, since the box like structure that covers Fasttrack's hand when he is holding the gun is encased around the peg itself.

Can someone put him alongside Earthrise Optimus to see how he works? I'm hoping for a potential Roller repaint.

Reminds me of a Ginrai or Prime in robot mode. Smallest of wave 3 but I like the sculpt and the knee joints which bend more than 90 degrees. Looks like an assassin for Scorponok.

I know this is a bit of a low-tech answer, but I use a toothpick. I don't worry too much about globbing(as long as it's not too large of a glob) as I would use sandpaper to even out the surface after the glue is dried

He doesn't fit in the trailer in alt mode, even with his arms removed, so I don't expect a Roller to be made from him. I think the Centurion pack Roller is all we're getting for ER Prime.

That wasn't what I was asking. He obviously doesn't fit in the trailer, most of the WFC Deluxes don't, I want to see how he looks combined with Earthrise Optimus.

I received mine today, and I am sad to report the left leg on mine is defective, in the oddest, most puzzling way.

The black part of it is a millimeter too long.. somehow. It keeps the leg from properly folding up into vehicle mode: (Green is good, red is bad)
    fasttrack2.jpg
Here, you can see the extra millimeter between the gray part of the leg and the ridge at the bottom of the black part:
    fasttrack1.jpg
Here, you can see the stress marks from me trying to force it anyway.
    fasttrack4.jpg
Finally, you can see how the extra millimeter allows the black part to go forward past vertical with the gray portion, unlike the good leg, which doesn't go past 90 degrees.
    fasttrack3.jpg
This is really perplexing how such a defect could happen - that black piece is one piece, so it's not an issue of it not being fully pushed in if the leg was designed to extend; and looking at the other pics in this thread, it's clear they are not affected; just mine. The gray part looks okay, so how did that "Extra" millimeter of length get there -or did the hole for the pin connecting them not get molded properly?

Either way, time to email BBTS. :/

Got mine from BBTS and had same issue. The one leg is pinned in the wrong place. I was lucky to find a new one at Target and I got a good copy.

Should have been a pack-in figure for Scorponok in my opinion. I don’t dislike Fasttrack, I’m not going to cancel my pre-order of Black Roritchi, but he really is nothing special, he’s on the small slim scale of Deluxe toys. As he is so simple though, I do like just picking him up, pulling him apart and transforming him while I’m watching TV. But yeah, he should have been sold packaged with Scorponok. That’s what he feels like he was designed as. My only issue is that his guns are too loose to stay secure on his shoulders and back.

Mine have loose cannons as well. Some people were fortunate enough to get properly fitting cannons. Our Black Roritchi, though, has properly fitting cannons at least.

I agree with everything you're saying. He was underwhelming as a deluxe on his own. He's just sort of dull. But, as a pack-in, I would have been wowed. He's so dull I canceled my order for the repaint.

The Tyrant Spear: Fully Extended Edition...

But, uh, not too hard 'cuz it's a bit wobbly!

It still strikes me as potentially a cut-back-due-to-budget original design intent because despite the mismatched colouration ER Megs' turret front really pushes Fasttrack from "wand" to actual "Spear" IMO, - and all it took was whittling a spare DiaKOlone bit down to make a blast effect nubbin port insertable to superglue into the tank gun barrel!
    DSC_0056.JPG
Still a shame that they didn't push the engineering to do some twist/pop n' lock elbows on the arms to stabilise the haft/shaft/handle, or at least design it to be better gripped by Scorps' pincers.
Despite the numerous slots, pegs, and ports on 'em none seem to really interact with anything on those pincer mitts for a truly decent gripping, before I got Fasttrack in-hand I was almost sure that one or both sets of slots were meant to be used in conjunction with the pincer "teeth" but NOPE!
That the torso is left spare rather than being used to make a pincer filling more secure connection for spear mode seems a big "swiff" and a miss too!

The play value is quite limited with Fast Track, there would be things to do but the design of the different parts does not allow you to have as much fun as with the other weaponizers in the line. After the frustration of not being able to do a truck mode (the torso reminds that of Optimus) I imagined a new head for Scorponok lol

I was thinking of it more as Slither Boa, maybe young Scorps had to work his way up the slippery ladder from starting out in the Decepticon Burlesque Unit?

Did I invent this? I haven't seen anyone else do it. Still don't like this figure.

As one of the first to own this underrated figure in the Earthrise line, this figure is absolutely amazing!

No complaints at all. He's just so fun to pose.

I posted in here awhile back, but here's a few more photos of this fun figure!

Don't have one myself, but I saw some things I can at least comment on.

Thank you for the proof that some of the people bashing his Weaponizer capabilities are using him wrong by limiting themselves to the "shoulder cannons backpack" idea. And in some ways, these pictures prove him a better Weaponizer than Brunt (at least as far as equaling Cog and Sixgun goes) because he actually supplies foot add-ons worth a damn. Not quite as good as having a Metroshot redeco of Sixgun would be, but not bad. Based on what I've seen I think there's a lot of good creative use potential for the parts.

I bet the spear mode's appearance would be improved by stickers or paintwork on the head. It doesn't look perfect, no, and it's not helped by Scorponok himself lacking the grip slots that Fortress Maximus and Metroplex have, but I think it's a nice extra touch that they were able to contrive Fasttrack to have a mode based on Blackzarak's Tyrant Spear to let him be that much more useful to his master. You can probably also manage some sort of "super gun" mode.

I also like that unlike Cog, Fasttrack comes with actual solid attachment pegs for Titan Masters.

He should not have been sold packaged with Scorponok, because then Scorpy would have taken a mass hit or cost $20 extra :p

By "normal" I take it you mean "the clips are on the wheel and plug into a socket on the body"?
That type does look aesthetically better right-off (barring colors working out just-so), but the tradeoff is that it seems to be more prone to the clips on the wheel getting warped in such a way as to impair rolling; I've actually had this happen with a couple figures.

Regarding tightening pegs: I've actually seen it said that clear floor polish is better than superglue, less likely to have destructive side effects.
