Yep upon closer inspection, you can see how it's been angled out of the way and where the hinge is (above the arrow)...a lot like Ultra Magnus's

Spinout had a pin if you ordered from the Hasbro Asia stock. I believe most stores get their stock from Hasbro Asia.

Well, that the buttflap can be solved by virtue of its design accomodating a simple fix without taking this thing apart is good news. Clearly they wanted to give people the option to clean up the look if so desired, and the TC rear view pic proves it.

Well played, Takara. That was my own gripe with MP-52, design wise, tbh (or that seemed a retrograde step stacked up to the otherwise vastly inferior MP-11.)

I just sold my Hasbro MP Soundwave in the hopes that a new version was in the works. With all of the V2 characters we’ve been getting, it’s not out of the question to think he’s being worked on. Thundercracker looks fantastic.

Does anyone have any idea how posable the wings are in robot mode? Before seeing that the tail folds in, I wouldve assumed a balljoint (or at least a similarly designed universal joint) and it's inherent range of motion. Some pictures look like the wings can angle back I think? Does anyone have any ideas?

Not a question of if but of when, yes. I sold everything but I missed 13 the most so I bought the reissue from AJP for a very good price, crazy actually. I will not get rid of it ever, but I would still buy the V2.

Not entirely accurate. People at Takara have seen it. But they've also released his line-art and he appears to be quite toy-centric in his design.

Think its the same, just the difference in the pose, Starscream looks to be standing straight up looking at his inner thighs and heels, while Thundercracker appears to be leaning forward some looking at his inner thighs and heels.

The design/proportions remind me of Devastation.

It's a shame they're still loading these prototype face sculpts with paint. We're gonna be shocked at all the detail and nuance we missed when this thing hits.

I think I'm sticking with just Starscream for this mold. That'll give me Hasbro V1 Skywarp. TRU V2 Thundercracker and V3 Starscream. I may or may not offload my TRU MP-11. I'll keep my Takara Ramjet. And maybe pick up Maketoys Dirge. Are those Zeta Coneheads MP size? If they are, maybe I'll pick up their Thrust.

So excited for these new seekers...bring on Skywarp and the Coneheads, too.

Really hope, though, that these and Skids are not the only 2021 releases planned.

Still waiting patiently for official Takara renditions of all the dinobots, starting with a Grimlock 2.0 in toon colors.
