This mold is so goddamn expressive. I can't wait for the inevitable Skywarp reveal, but TC's colors are so on point. I can't wait for this mold in all three decos.

So according to this, Thundercracker is gonna be MP-52+. I wonder what Skywarp will be, MP-52++?

These new seekers do not have any waist rotation

 

I think Skywarp will have his own number. I think they went with 52+ for Thundercracker because in the diaclone line, Starscream and Thundercracker were the original repaints of each other, whereas Skywarp was originally a Hasbro deco.

Starscream's blue looked lighter and greener in his promo shots, but in this one his blue is exactly the same as Thundercracker's, and their light greys are the same as well; all is as it should be  

 

If we get 2.0 Coneheads, they're going to be like, 75% new, at least. I mean, the only thing they'd reasonably share with Starscream and Co. is maybe the jet nosecone? And that's only provided they don't do something like the MP-11-derived Coneheads and integrate the head in some form. There's probably a lot of underlying engineering that could be shared, maybe some joint parts, but almost everything surface-level would need to be redone.

The animation design for the Coneheads was actually quite a bit different. Just like most S2 character models, they had far more toy-derived design elements.
