I'm definitely game for him too. Saw Todd's Gold label wave two reveal and wow... He is truly a child at heart. Has Todd ever confirmed he's had a stroke? Cause it sounds like he has.
I went hunting this morning. I found one each of the McFarlane Toys Batman: DC Rebirth Robin and Batman: Dark Knights Batman-11 figures at the Folsom Target off Blue Ravine Dr. Also, I found two G.I. Joe Cobra Island Viper figures at the Roseville Target on Douglas Ave. AND...I found a Transformers Netflix Bumblebee figure, and an Elita-1 figure, at the Rocklin Walmart.
Tried to find this at Target but no luck. Are they going to release a red version? The one I had back in the day was red though I remember there being a blue too ( I think). Maybe green.
So are they going to release a red version of Mandarin Spawn? Really want it in red. Maybe he's into it too though. Todd seems like a sick bastard behind closed doors.
Todd’s obsessed with the idea of gluing batarangs to Batman’s chest, I think he’d be unfazed by some more intense figure customizing. Seriously though, the company as a whole has been largely encouraging of customizing for as long as I can remember. Todd showed off the red one on Instagram not that long ago and I think there was a solicitation in Previews that was shared here. Don’t remember if there was an actual timeframe for when it will be released though.
Everything is a WIP as of now though most of the figures are getting prepared for paint but here's what i got these 2 will be my Darksiders inspired Horseman. I have other pieces that need to be added to the War such as shoulder pads, and knee pads. I'm still trying to figure out an idea for the holsters for Stryfe. I'm waiting on Deathmetal Batman as a base for Death, that's the head I'm going to use for him between the 2. Fury will be used with a mix of Adept Sister, LKOE WW, & DM WW (2022 coming soon lol) These 3 are the bases for WWII Spawn, Al Simmons, and MK Cyber Noob. I have the hook chains for WWII Spawn just need to finish stripping the wire for them, and wait for the army man head to have that WWII like bucket hemelt. I have to dremel off the bat stuff for Simmons. Both will need KS Spawn heads when ever they all show up. MK Cyber Noob just need to be painted and have a few more editions added like a new center piece over the bat symbol and then painted. Ultimately I go this route bcuz the idea of sculpting scares the crap out of me. I also have the horse in my head for the 4 Horseman.
yeah i went thru a lot getting to that point, as nice as McF figs are there's barely any reuse and that includes the innards, i had to cut the crotch joints drill into them and gorilla glue them together with a metal pin, right now he's just sitting on top of the joint as i don't want to put him completely together until i'm dont painting in case it breaks apart
Mcfarlane is Junk. What a disgrace. Went to turn his head and it twisted right off with little force. I love Hopper too. I sure hope the Kickstarter Spawn isn’t garbage.
that sucks, i can't agree with your sentiments with the amount of McF figures i own and have taken apart, there will always be outliers and figures that break from the company from time to time but there hasn't been a lot of known figs breaking
I know not all their figures are junk. I own many spawn figures from the early days and they are still fine. I’m a big fan of stranger things and was disappointed to see Hopper break and this abomination and them not producing the Steve figure everyone wanted instead of the undesirable figures they decided to produce that went to bargain bins which meant the Steve figure would never be made, a major disappointment.
Demogorgon casualty! My Superman snapped at the knee. I never bothered replacing him. I haven't had any other issues with the few modern ones I have though. His older stuff got brittle over time. The capes especially, pieces just crumble off. And my headless horseman deteriorated. The metal skeleton is poking through the legs and the rubber is gooey.
