Wow what a horrible transformation that was. My biggest worry with it is the knee to shin connection, a single screw!, I would advise being careful with that joint. Also found I am missing a piece from the left arm, a small clip that holds deadend in place so I still can't finish combining it. He is unstable though this is my first combiner so not sure if that is normal for these?

 

From this pic, u can see XTB Menasor legs is shorter than Zeta Bruticus, other body part portion is pretty much same.

 

Need some dynamic poses doing! On one knee, swinging that sword or aiming his wrist blasters....

And there's the shot we've all been waiting for. Imagine that. 10 whole millimetres really is insignificant afterall! The sky truly isn't falling.

Just got my TFS Express UK balance request, FYI.

 

XTB Menasor is kind of too short from this pic, the other 2 guys are significant taller and bulker than him. Weird, I thought he is 49 cm. Shouldn't be this much difference.
Maybe he does need the arm bot add-on, plus leg add-on to beef him up.

 

Regarding transformation do you have to go into base mode before going in to combined mode? Cheers

 

Deadend top half missing because the clip is not there so he will not stay on. This pose is actually pretty stable.

 

Yeah you do by following the instructions but I think if you knew the transformation well enough you could probably skip it.

 

Do you have gravestone in?

 

Yeah he was a pain to get in and not in properly but he is in there.

 

Makes it really back heavy I found, and couldn't get him to hold any pose, so have left him out.

Will have another fiddle later. Also found that the torso likes to just disconnect if leaning forward a bit, the two side bits with the 4 teeth just slide out of the waist bit. Same for you?

 

Maybe the bit you have to press to unlock is not locked again? Mine is locked in place and doesn't move at all.

 

Wow, that stinks. Dose it look like it was broke or just not installed?

 

It was not installed unfortunatly so I have emailed TFsExpress, they are pretty good with getting replacement parts so not worried. not sure how much will need to be replaced though. Last time I had a replacement part for one of their bots Xtransbots sent the whole leg.

 

I know options%/opinions etc but the more in hand pics I see the more I'm scratching my head why they bothered with shells. Maybe if you want to be 100% slavish to the Sunbow lineart, which I'd normally be a sucker for, but he looks perfect without imo.
