No problem. Ended up getting a pin punch tool and finally got the upgrade kit backpack on Arcee. She looks great! I would love it if a similar kit (including some sort of leg extensions) were to get made for Elita 1.

 

Thank you too. Just searched through all 10 pages for that answer (since I just got Arcee today). Now I can skip this kit and just fill in the gaps with apoxy putty.

Damn, that looks good. Hopefully it doesn't affect the vehicle mode rolling like their Wheeljack kit.

Is a shame that their Arcee set is so lazy, their efforts should have gone to make an actual transformable backpack.

That's what I've been waiting for...but need in Cordon and Spin-Out colors. We avoided Sunstreaker due to his color mismatch issues.

I'll still defend Sunstreaker and say that his color matching problems are not an issue in hand, it matches fairly closely to my eyes.

 

I have seen in person on multiple copies, and it's quite awful. However...some people obviously process color mismatches differently, which is completely fine. There's nothing wrong with that.

 

Kind of neat. These remind me of the accessories included with the Mutatin' TMNT figures. Those accessories would convert from one thing, like Splinter's cane, into a weapon, in this case a crossbow.

That integration is genius. I'm still on the fence on Sunstreaker due to the yellow mismatches. Introducing another shade of yellow doesn't help that decision.

 

which sunstreaker kit is that. thats pretty smart and leg fillers are good. is it me or did they try to match the mismatched paint and officially make him two toned yellow? haha

 

Upcoming Go Better / GX kit. They do the highest quality 3d printed parts and often look like injection molded when painted over.

It does look like they matched the cab paint rather than the base plastic. There's honestly no great way to handle the color mismatch on Sunstreaker. That's why we got Cordon and Spin-Out instead. Hopefully, they'll do white and red versions of the kit. They've done alternate color versions of other kits previously (ordered a purple back filler kit recently for SG OP as example).

 

I'm hoping that they do, too. But if they don't I'll buy three of the yellow kits. Doesn't look like it'd be too hard to mask off the actual spoiler and paint the yellow parts red/white. White shouldn't be too hard to match, and even if the red's not perfect I think it'll look better than the black showing on Spinout.

 

I wonder if there's any way to store the gun in vehicle mode? I want somebody to design a beefy, more G1 engine intake with a 5mm port to plug the gun into.
