Last night after work I picked up Kruiil, Karga, and Gideon from GameStop. I pre order them in store a few month ago.
Huh, just checked and mine is out for delivery too. No notice of shipping or anything. Weird, but works for me!
Meanwhile mine is not cancelled yet, but still "Delayed". I ordered one from the hint that @bearytrek posted earlier and tossed in a G1 Blaster to see if they'll put it in a box rather than bag. That one shows up as "preparing" with a January 14th delivery date.
The more I watch the scenes of boba fett from the Mandalorian, the more I'm asking for a black series figure of that.
I'm not gonna bother with Walmart anymore for Din...but at least Target shipped out my Remnant Stormtrooper Woohoo!
This might be sacrilege, but I think I might actually be more excite for the new additional pin than the actual toy. Weird, right?
I'm with you that the pin is now more intriguing to me than just the toy. Probably because I collect pins though.
If it showed up in a bag, then it was likely a site-to-home delivery by Door Dash. I ordered a couple of items for family members from Walmart.com, and since they were in stock at the site, Walmart sub-contracted out to Door Dash to deliver the items instead of shipping from the distribution centre. Of course, for whatever reason, Walmart only gave the DD driver half the order and called it a day, but that wasn't anything that a phone call to the Walmart.com support centre couldn't resolve. On the one hand, it's good if the "dollars" from the same can feed into the local stores, but it's not good if the local stores can't fill the orders correctly. Here's hoping mine comes from the distribution centre with the pins, or I will be a sad panda.
Corner of the card was curled but not bent so it is mend-able with a heavy book. Luckily I don't collect pins but it's the principle of the the thing!
I mean... Good for the people who want them... I'm just trying to wrap my head around how these guys are getting figures before ROTS Sheev.
Mine just delivered - same deal, small padded envelope, no pin. At least the card is undamaged. Tangent: I kinda hate cards, makes me think twice about opening them and ruining it. I don't know why I care about Star Wars cards/boxes, I don't keep any TF cards or boxes, why should it be different? Definitely going to complain about the no-pin though, that's lame.
Revenge Of The Sith (ROTS) Palpatine. That's who I'm talking about. I agree OT outsells ST, but PT is another story. I'd find it hard to believe that two nobodies would outsell the meme king.
False advertising! I actually began to think the pin would be neat but never expected it to be real. Oh well. As long as I get the figure I ordered, I’m good.
