I do wonder sometimes if the fans uproar about Breakaway is whats causing him to be highly considered for the production in this lines. It makes me wonder what other concept/non movie characters people would want. As a matter fact I'll ask you guys cuz I really wanna know now

 

Breakaway and Springer would be my top 2, but we’ve talked about them a lot. Other than that, the seekers from the ROTF game and the Stealth Bomber version of The Fallen. I don’t expect them to make any of these (especially not the last 2), but it’s fun to think about.

 

I recently started collecting the Studio Series line, and I'm loving it so far!

My list:
44 Optimums Prime
49 Bumblebee

On the way:
54 Megatron
8 Blackout
16 Ratchet
7 Grimlock


My only disappointment so far is that Prime and Bee have parts that hang too low in alt mode, so they don't quite roll as rolling things should.

And of course I got the DNA Design upgrade kit for 44 Prime, and it looks awesome! Will grab more upgrade kits!

Question time:
Has anyone heard anything about the other dinobots being done in Studio Series? Scorn, Slug, and Strafe.
What about AOE/TLK Studio Series Optimus Prime? Have the rumor mills said anything?

Springer's name is based on his legs, bcs of how long they are, which allows him jump well, so this mold wouldn't work. That and Springer NEEDS to be a triple changer.

This is true at the end of the day Breakaway never made it into the movies so if he does happen which I think is likely at this point it just goes to show that Hasbro hears what we the fans are saying wouldn’t be surprised if a few Hasbro employees checked out these boards every once in a while.

RoTF and DoTM games had some great designs would love to see them get toys someday perhaps if Breakaway does indeed happen and if he sells well Hasbro may be more inclined to make more concept and game bots. I kinda want a DoTM Warpath.

Rumor has it that the AoE Dinobots will trickle out over the next few years but nothing concrete. Unfortunately the SS86 Dinobots are more likely to see the light of store shelves before the AoE Dinobots. Though Hasbro has been good about completing teams lately so I doubt Hasbro will exclude them.

Ok I have a question for those who did the Dotm voyager Ironhide chest mod: how did you get it to stay in place? I've looked over both threads from this site that SavioPrime and Think-tank customs did several times and actually did Thinktanks mod to mine and still won't hold into place. I'm sorry for asking this about a very old figure but just thought someone may be able to help me out.

I REALLY want the Create-a-bot and Construct-a-con from the 2007 DS games.

Good! In the films the bot modes were always much bigger than could realistically fit into their alt modes (accounting for passenger space and such too) so it really makes sense for movie bot figures to use the internal space as efficiently as possible to achieve a screen-accurate look.

Agreed. Even in 09 I didn't think that much of it. It was imposing for its size but the sunken in head and the spring feet plus lack of a staff (on the initial release) kind of killed it for me after not that long.

We have the "which non-screen bots would you want in SS?" conversation like once a month now at least...
