How does this guy scale with Wei Jiang Megamaster? Based on looking at reviews of the two it looks like Megamaster's too tall, but I've never actually seen them side by side.

Megamaster is too tall. He was designed to scale with MPP10.

This figure is kind of strange because it's pretty ugly in static poses but looks great in Dynamic poses

Agreed. I couldn't put my finger on it for a while, but it eventually came to me that he gives off a vibe like he's Prime from the old G2 comic. Kinda boxy and funny looking, but very... kinetic.

I like him though. I'm a sucker for a good prime, and I'll probably get this one and Magic Square too.

He's based on the Studio OX Optimus. And yeah, he looks pretty bad in a vanilla standing straight up pose, but start putting him in something more dynamic and he's gold.

I hated the look of him for the longest time when he came out. But, for some reason, he started to grow on me, so I took a chance. After opening him, poor old MP10 was instantly replaced.

Here’s a side by side of Promorion and Weijiangs MPP-10. Their Megamaster is scaled for MPP-10 so this will give some idea of the height difference with Primorion.

Unfortunately, as nice as Prim is, there really isn’t a Megatron that scales with him properly. Waiting on FansHobby to hopefully do their G2 Tank megatron and hope that will scale well enough. Otherwise compress Prims knees a little and put a small half inch step under one of the MP Megatrons and they’ll squeak by. Mightron or Apollyon probably match the aesthetic best.

Can anybody tell me if the 11" they list for this guy is to the top of the head, or the top of the long antennae?

Thank you very much. That's exactly what I was hoping for. My THF Dynastron stands exactly 10" (don't ask me how, I've measured it five times to make sure I'm not messing something up) so I don't think the disparity will be that bad between the two if they are in action poses fighting. I'm in for the Zeta release of this, then. He looks amazing.

Well, I ended up going with TE-01 instead and am very happy for the decision. I may still pick this guy up in the future, but for now the TE with the custom sticker sets I made for it are a pretty good OP for my collection.

I was thinking about getting that one but I didn’t like the original headsculpt (mainly the eyes) but with the new head I might get it. Either way I’m still gonna wait after the mp44 release so hopefully the prices of every prime will go down lol

The new head is nice, but in my opinion still needs work. The faceplate extends down farther than the first head, which makes him look like he's got no neck. Doesn't bother everybody, though, so YMMV. I'll also say that the v1 head is actually a really nice sculpt—it's the paint job that kills it. I stripped the paint off of mine and repainted to a Marvel comics version and it looks REALLY NICE.

That’s a really good idea. I bet the eyes look great now, the thing that bothered me the most was that the eyes looked nothing like prime’s imo

So is Zeta ver. EXACTLY the same? No white waist and thighs or smoked glass windows like I expected buying primorion?

I got a Primorion recently and personally, I think it's fantastic, I couldn't have asked for anything better

If only it had the toon colors of the proto I love the studio ox influence.

Still wish I could find one of the promos with white instead of gray.
