Wow, now I'm really hoping they use the combat Megatron head cause that be slick as hell. Only real problem I can see that posing is the fact that SG Megatron is gonna be the ER mold so I'm not sure if combat Meg's head will be usable in it. Though I assume it could since ER Megatron is a retool of Siege to begin with.

Also that custom Deadlock is pretty damn cool. I'm kinda surprised we haven't gotten any kind of recolor/retool of Springer yet.

 

So, no to an alpha trion, bummer. Any chance we may see ratchet and others repacked in 2022 (still bitter abt amazon cancelling my order). Anything you're just waiting for us to ask about?

 

I think it's odd that driftlock is made out of springer. He looks a lot closer to blurr in my opinion.

I think it started with AoE Drift getting a lot of Springer customs and whatnot, then that evolved into IDW Drift and eventually Deadlock

 

The custom's actually based on Guido's own take on what a G1 Drift/Deadlock would look like which is basically a white Springer with a Drift/Deadlock head on top of it as a way to also homage the Triple Changing aspect of AOE/TLK Drift.

 

Plus G1 Springer actually had a sword, and Blurr did not.

 

Yeah, it definitely looks cool but I'd really prefer a mold with a lankier build for Drift. If they don't make an entirely new mold for him, I think the SS86 Hot Rod mold could work. The transformation of the shoulders could be changed to resemble Drift's typical shoulders, and since the mold uses a faux hood on the chest that part could easily be turned into Drift's chest, and the overall shape of the vehicle mode is close enough to Drift's Cybertronian car mode that it could definitely work as a reshell. All the accessory slots the figure comes with would allow for a couple swords too, hopefully with better sculpting than Springer's have.

 

Kids wanted to be Vader because he was the one that made things happen, while the good guys reacted. Same holds true for the dinosaurs.

 

If Slipstream gets her own mold and/or an extensive retool, I'd want Nova Storm and Acid Storm redecos because Cyberverse.

When I was little, I made up my own Star Wars character. I was the badass younger sister of Han Solo (my favorite Star Wars chatacter). She was Force Sensitive, but preferred using her cleverness and blaster  

I digress, though. I have an IDW Drift, Bayverse Drift, SG Drift and a Deadlock. While I like all of them, my favorite is IDW Drift.
