i don't know what else thread to put this thought in (this is probabaly the wrong one), but i've been doing some simple edits, trying to figure out how to make the arcee figure look better for me. erasing her "eyelashes" does such an improvement. she looks 10 times better without them in my opinion. made me actually want to get her

That actually does look pretty good for her face sculpt.

 

If someone made an easy step-by-step DIY mod on the chest and painting the eyebrows, so many people would do it.

Or, if someone made a KO with those mods, they'd be rolling in cash.

 

i also copypasted the legends toy's chest piece on her, looks decent. it would eliminate some of her shoulder articulation though, i assume. but it wouldn't matter to me personally

do ppl make "upgrades" for masterpiece figures? i'm not relly into mp stuff so i'm ignorant lol

Supposedly a lot more is coming, but nothing has been revealed or confirmed apart from those 2.

I... i'm legit stunned.

This is beyond insane at this point, hahahaha. Aside from Optus Pexus (MMC IDW Orion Pax) and the new MP Seekers, Arcee is legit one of the most anticipated figures of the year so far, and this is definitely helping.

There's been a good deal of MP upgrades over the years, from some as simple as individually articulated hands by KFC, to replacement heads with built-in LEDs from MoDel, to full-on upgrade kits from Shadow Fisher, to even the independent stuff such as, ironically enough, @Unicron9's Arcee upgrade!



So let this serve as a welcome down the rabbit hole of hardcore Masterpiece life, hahaha.

 

Really do hope someone replicates that Arcee upgrade. Would definitely get me more interested.
