I think the most obvious choice is to put Maximus Ambus opposite the DJD, assuming that you have them.

I think this guy is bigger than the DJD big bots no? I think in the comics, they are all supposed to be around the same size?

 

I think the Maximus Armor was quite large. I mean 2 guys were sitting in the shoulder cannons and Brainstorm barely came up to the waist(if I remember that correctly...)

 

2 small guys .... Brainstorm was already shorter than the non armored up Magnus (around chest level, I am guessing), so the armor added some bulk and height alright, but it didn't make Magnus into a giant.

Don't think my MMC Rewind and Make Toys Swerve are going to fit into IF Maximus Ambus so IF give me a suitable Rewind and Swerve.

Seeing their take on Magnus and how great their Megatron was, it makes me really hope they release an updated Optimus. The old one just doesn't stand up to the improvements they've made since it was released. I also wish their Magnus would have the white Optimus somehow.

 

there are plenty of us who are quietly waiting for a prime 2.0 that is just like their megs. where he can show both an earth and a cybertron mode.

but at this point i am afraid he will be a samurai horse and or wagon. so i am not sure i really want a new prime from IF right now.

 

Easy solution. Updates of all the old if characters! New sixshot, New black shadow, New overlord etc.

Seriously though we do need an actual legends version of this Prime.

 

I'm not in on the Samurai line with the exception of maybe Bludgeon, but a Prime 2.0 or Fort Max to match the Magnus and I'd be all in on that. A Shockwave 2.0 would be great too.seeing the size of Magnus makes me wonder if they will tackle another combiner or Hot Rod given the DJD release.

Totally. I was *this close* to getting the reissue from Gcreation at showZ but money and shelf space being so tight, I skipped it and now both versions are sold out. Like you said, somebody legendize this motha'.

 

An IF IDW Fort Max would be awesome. And little chance that Hasbro would ever produce one.
