Ah, yes, I was right to wait and see on Netflix Cheetor before I committed to the the regular one. The darker, metallic blue and deeper yellow on him totally outweighs the lack of paint on the shins for me.

 

He actually still does, if you... look between the legs, you can see that it's plugged into his back.

 

Eh, Cheetor doesn't really look as much of an improvement as I was expecting.

I think the Kingdom figure will do.

 

The Cheetor figure is amazing. I’m not personally into Beast Wars, but he looks really good.

I don’t say this often, but Hasbro should be ashamed of the Quintesson soldier. All they had to do was make it screen accurate, and it would’ve been fine. Instead it looks like the person holding the sharpie was tased while painting on the “battle damage”. It wasn’t that bad in the Siege toyline , but this is pathetic.

The purple Paleotrex looks really good, but I’ll have to see the deco of the figure inside to determine whether I’ll buy it.

Sparkless datsun is an awesome concept and it was executed pretty well. It doesn’t fit my collection but this was a concept that was done well, unlike others in this wave (looking at you Quintesson soldier. I mean seriously, look at the dudes on the show. That deco was not hard to recapture. It was solid colors on body parts. There wasn’t even overlap.)

 

Still no spots on the cheetah's lower legs.

Pros: blue is better. White on the cheetah face/belly is better.

Cons: less paint? None on the shins.

I don't know. It's not a slam dunk.

 

I hope to god this is official. Anyways, rusty Barricade from the previous thread looked good, and this possible new Cheetor looks amazing. Accurate toy colors, accurate eye color, spot on. The guy that looks like a Quintesson Soldier isn\'t very good though....just don\'t like his paint scheme, nor do I like the mold. I\'m one of the one percent of people who prefer the Universe Ironhide.

Make a deco, without half-assing it so that you could sell a slightly superior version, right after diehard fans of the character succumb to temptation and buy an imperfect figure?
