Took a shot at these while waiting for Tracks and a few other legends to be released... And they're awesome! The type of figure I would've snuck into class as a little kid. Galvatron loses a few points for being blue violet, but for $25 shipped, will def be getting the others on this series.

I put a spin on it though with SB holding SDubs from the Zeta bar set.. they should've invited you to the party, galvy looking a little lonely over there, dancing by myself... oh oh oh oh

hey @TurtleCaps can you take a pic of mini S-dub in altmode next to the zeta bar SW. are they roughly the same size?

 

if the zeta was a micro fraction slimmer on the top & sides it could fit inside MS SW chest,, where as no way Dr. Wu could,, but depends on what you'd be doing with them in order to consider them roughly the same size.

Got our copy of Galvatron finally in the mail after being delayed for weeks.

I knew he was going to be small, although I was not thinking this small.

Tank mode was disappointing in person. Bot mode works a lot better.

Wished the cannon was in clear plastic. I might make my own custom cannon (that's also not completely hollow).

If anything, the 2.5mm to 3mm blast effects adapter should have been clear plastic. The 3mm part is a little too long.

Edit: The 3mm part of the adapter is also oversized in terms of width.

 

Made a custom clear version of the cannon. Turned out OK.


Also made new clear blast effects adapter.

Thanks to mass shifting (and of course Dr Wu and Fans Toys), I get to have a fun photoshoot.

 

Anyone by chance have the Legends scale DX9 figures to compare against these size wise or can comment on it? Just trying to decide if I should get these or not. Really not happy that blue Soundwave comes with black Galvatron now instead of it being the normal colors together and the black versions together.

 

I'm also disappointed by that decision but I expect it's an attempt to make people buy both sets rather than getting what they want in just one.

 

Blue Soundwave is also being released with beachcomber.
