Did they ship it in a bag or is this the work of one of their gorillas in the warehouse?

Edit: I have two coming that they decided to ship separately because reasons. They'll go right back if they show up looking like that. I also lucked into a batch of the GI Joe "retro" releases that are _also_ shipping separately because reasons. These people are idiots. Half the time I only order two of anything from certain places to get a box instead of a bag and then they try to thwart me by doing stupid stuff like this. Why can't we just have nice things sometimes without a faceless (and often brainless) corporation screwing everything up?

Edit More: It really is disturbing how Walmart can regularly have everything, even shelfwarmers, jacked up to 50% over retail, while Amazon can have so much stuff at or below retail with no problem. It's also a little puzzling because the requirements to be 3rd party seller on Walmart are so much higher than Amazon. They practically demanded I set up a 24-hour 800 number among other things that made it completely unfeasible. From my perspective, that should mean Walmart skews more "real" businesses while Amazon (and eBay for that matter) sees more of the casual flippers but it hasn't worked out that way.

 

Keep asking and keep checking this page, the sightings page for your state, and the WM Netflix thread in News as people frequently share when they have an extra. Also don't give up on WalMart.com. I got one from them at the end of December.

 

Not to mention having a few relatives and friends who've worked at the local store, and the stories they could tell... It's only gone downhill since they left too. Which is a shame because when the store opened it really wasn't bad at all.

Oh and I see Bumblebee is back up to 50$. Shit at this rate it might actually be cheaper to track down a Masterpiece Bee. Let's hope Hasbro Pulse gets them in.

 

Can someone explain to me why Bumblebee is higher than MSRP if it's from Walmart and not a third party?
I've got one crappy Walmart I go to regularly and one slightly less crappy Walmart I get to maybe once every 2 months. Between the 2 of them, I have seen one Elita, 2 Impactors and a bunch of Wheeljacks.

 

It seems to be some sort of pricing algorithm. I'm not sure if its taking MSRP and then comparing it to their third party sellers and coming up with something inflated or if its a supply and demand thing. Someone on here probably knows more than me.

 

one of my walmarts in Lexington has no joke 9 Netflix Wheeljacks peg warming. 2 Impactors. Nothing else. Another one has 5 Mirage and 5 Netflix Optimus Primes. The third had nothing but Studio Series Scavenger and Megatron.

 

And then Hasbro repacked Wheeljack in Kingdom instead of the Allicons that I've never even seen one of...

 

got an aldi's food market? Apparently all wave 2 went to them for some reason. I only saw 1 smokescreen in wave 2 at walmart. But that was one of 2 figures target actually filled in my bogo deal. If I see the headmasters reissue in store I may buy them for $20 or less. But not for 30ish on website. Especially Brainstorm. I had the takara I picked up at halfpriced books but let my buddy have it at that cost because he wanted it and I was unsure if I wanted to track down all the takara figures. Now I have a cannon thought up for the character without the faceplate...another failed Shockwave Clone. LOL

 

If I were to guess (from experience), the algorithm can't distinguish between Walmart items and 3rd party items. Because no database has ever had a way to use columns or filter records.

Anyway...good old Walmart, shipped two Deloeans in one bag (both are seriously bent, ripped, and dinged) and the pens I ordered with them in a box. I'm taping the bag back up and throwing it back in the mail. Assholes.

 

So the upside to Walmart scalping their own figures is that I could get a replacement order for my Bee with 2 left forearms.

 

My Gigawatt was apparently delivered today at 8:00.... but there was never any package on my doorstep. It was handled by "lasership"...

I have no experience with my packages being stolen, or if it wasn't actually delivered and they are an incompetent company, so I have no idea what to do right now.

[EDIT[ Never mind, they just delivered it to the front my my driveway.... VERY FUCKING SWELL!

 

Sometimes they will lie that a package was delivered late at night so that they can claim they delivered within the agreed timeframe. They then drop her parcel off the next day.

 

Yeah, I checked the tracking and saw the photo, and they just laid it on the edge of the driveway near the street. Totally wouldn't discourage theft there! :/

It was still there three hours later, thankfully.

Some of the people in Walmart's warehouse have no fucking brains. Apparently they decided to ship the two retro Destros and Scarlets I ordered. Four separate packages. The Scarlets came in a correctly sized box and a generic box but both looked pretty good. The two Destros? One bag and one padded envelope, both smashed. There's no reason they couldn't put all four in the larger of the two Scarlet boxes. Then my $30 Doubledealer ordered _months_ ago (came and went in stock several times) finally showed up and was in a box exactly sized for it.

Does anybody need a Destro or Delorean and isn't concerned enough about the packaging to beg for a discount? Otherwise I'm shipping them back.

 

Did all your orders come from the same distribution center?

 

Anyone remember those $30 Doubledealer preorders from the summer? I just got mine. And it was actually Doubledealer. I'm kind of shocked.
