Awoke to another morning with no Vipers showing in the 17 area Targets that have yet to receive shipments.

 

My area went from "not sold at this store" to "out of stock" overnight. The only exception is the store I was at where they said they were waiting for the reset.

Walmart shipped my retro Roadblock only. Destro and FANG not shipped. I missed the Scarlett pre order, got her in a lot.

 

My area is still saying out of stock within 50 miles and not sold at my local store. But they don't seem to be stocking much of anything at my local store right now so they're probably just waiting for their reset.

I did talk to another guy that told me on Monday he got 4 Viper and a Firefly at Madison east. At this point if I find a Viper fine,I'm not going out of my way for 1.

 

Looks like my RB and Scarlett have been delivered, Destro has shipped, but the Fang still processing.

I guess I didn't really realize how different this new retro Fang is from the 25th, it's an entirely new mold it looks like.

 

You'll have to give your opinion on that new Fang mold. Maybe it looks better in person. That tail boom just seems awfully short based on the pictures I saw. I haven't seen anything more than a Hiss tank by me.

 

Same results in that there aren't any within 100 miles of me still. Seems gi joe stays away from Texas.

 

I'm wondering if certain stores are doing these resets on the 10th,maybe..HOPEFULLY I guess maybe we see more popping up next week.

 

Unless there's something in their contract with Target that stipulates how much they need to change an exclusive to sell elsewhere, I don't see why they can't just do a slight recolor like they are doing with Scarlett and Roadblock. From a collector perspective, I'd think even just a packaging change would be enough to appease the masses.

 

Also keeping mind there hasn’t been many sighting of Firefly either. I know there were a couple of him popping up it’s been very isolated.

 

^Let my rephrase this, I checked my order and it says processing but not expected until Feb 2nd so I won't be receiving it anytime soon. Also, I plan to keep it in box so I wont be able to note the differences, sorry. But yes, it does look funny with the stubby tail.

Gotcha. I'm guessing the Fang will start showing up sooner or later. I am really surprised they went with a mold change for it given the fact that they released it not to long ago.
Luckily my brother ordered me a Firefly off ebay. Guess the guy had 2 of them up so he offered me one. With Zartan coming out,technically if I can get a set of Dreadnoks in 6" I don't know that I'll need anything else out of classified really. Tracking this line down is quickly sapping away my interest.

Wonder if they'll ever do a tweaked non-exclusive version like they're doing with the Troopers.

 

I'm pretty sure they're gonna tweak the Baroness from her initial design for the retail release, but I'd still like to get a Baroness with gold shoulder pads and purple hair at some point. What can I say, I love repaints.
