The studio series are hyper screen accutrate (or at least supposed to be) figure to there source material, plus even though they have different aesthetics, they were both made and produce relatively at the same time, giving them a theoretical similar fan base

So I don’t know where else to ask this but here. For those of you who own Cyberverse Ultra Class Clobber, how big is she compared to voyager Lugnut? How do the colors compare? Could you please take a side-by-side pic or two?

If the size is pretty close, I’m thinking about picking her up to have a Cybertronian mode Lugnut.

Lug is just behind Clob. You can see the colors. Height is close to same.

So who's excited for that rumored Animated Bumblebee in the new Buzzworthy subline?
Do you guys think it'll be a new mold, or perhaps a US release of Hydro Dive Bumblebee in something other than that godawful gold colorscheme?

I for one can't wait to find out more!

I’m very hopeful it’s Hydro Dive even if it’ll probably just be the Deluxe or Activator. Would love a chance to get that mold at a good price.

I TRULY hope it's the Hydrodive Bumblebee without the dive accessories and instead a properly-scaled Sari. The only thing preventing me from buying the OG is the metallic paint scheme; it's not cartoon accurate and far too shiny. If the Buzzworthy Animated Bee is this mold with the proper colors, I will die of happiness. Not only is he a near perfect scale to the rest of the Animated line (well, except Lugnut, of course), but it's a bit more toon accurate than the standard deluxe figure because of the striping on the right side of the chest and correctly angled front-of-the-car feet. If they incorporate the stingers like the regular, it will be an A++ figure.

A TFA bee with a Sari figure is my damn dream. I was super mad as a kid there was NO merch of her, and I still am tbh. There's that one figure from a convention* or something but it's really rare and looks... well, not good. If we got such a thing, I'd buy it so fast.

    *edit - my b, it was 3P

Bulk. He's shorter than Skyfire but built like a linebacker.

Oh I never got around to it before, but here's my Animated shelf! the majority of these were donated to me by my super awesome older brother some years ago. sorry for the taped fairy lights, it's all i've got lmao. i mean, i like them, but some folks might find them kinda amateurish compared to some of the nicer displays folks have around here. there's a few cubes in the back there that i picked off an old board game, i'd like to paint them bright pink at some point so they can be energon cubes :]

the acrylic keychains + cat blurr pin (i also have a jetfire, jetstorm, and bumblebee, but they are currently pinned to things) are from creepysteeples on etsy, for anyone wondering. her animated merch is adorbs, and that sari scales really nicely to bee! it's a nice little stand-in since there are no real sari figures.

some day i will acquire a swindle.

edit - forgot to mention that i've also got Arcee & Wreck Gar, they're on my desk!

I'd rather have a new line dedicated just for animated. That way we can get a good amount of characters.

I assume these are the figures you’re talking about?

I may be wrong, but I don't think these were a con exclusive. I think they were produced by a 3P company. However, I did get these for free at TFCon a few years ago, when they put boxes of them in the hotel lobby next to the line to get in the dealer room. I got the impression they didn't sell well and were trying to get rid of them, probably because they really aren't very well made. Are they really that rare now?

Here's a pic from a couple years ago. Apparently Tara Strong had never seen the Sari figure before and she asked me where I got it.

that's the one, yeah! i've only seen them around ebay every now and again. i never really looked into them since i think they look weird but just to verify, i did, and i can see they Are 3P! which explains a lot. they're not bad if you got them for free, though! x)
