edit: obviously Raiden is his name, lol, I don't know what he's from is what I should have said.

 

Virtual On Raiden?
I only know that game briefly, because 25 years ago, Virtual On is a very expensive arcade game, not a lot Chinese arcade shop could afford this.

I played the arcade in Epcot Center on vacation once but it was the Sega Saturn version that I wore out.

 

I even had twin-sticks for the Dreamcast. I still own the OST for VO:OT. (like, on real official CD's)

 

I never had the twin stick set-up but that massive Sega Nights controller got its share of use.

 

I’m going to be really disappointed if they just make the hip bot just use his hip joints for the combiner like MMC and other combiners before him. It never works out well and is usually easy to break, freakishly difficult to move bot legs, or way too weak for the combiner.

 

Yo Virtual-on is the best robot fighting game of all time. Too bad all SEGA does with the series is simply making hd ports :/

 

Definitely, MK was a spinoff jambalaya combo of all things we grew up as kids thinking cool; Bruce Lee on Han's Island, JCVD, that sexy lightning throwing guy from Big Trouble in Little China and of course Ninjas! I'd even stretch it to say Sonya was Cynthia Rothrock who I must say had legit skills.

 

Getting back on topic, any color pics/digibashes of the new renders yet?

 

Do we have any info confirmed on how tall combined mode is?

Is it bigger than the other pantsformers and torsoformers?

 

Pretty much the same size. Also this guy will most likely torso form in a way given that head Along with the wings most likely are added on separately. Not to mention the hands will also be completely separate pieces. Most of which is to not pointlessly sacrifice aspects of each bot and the combiners look.

 

The head has some hinges on it, so I have hopes that it will be integrated somehow, I am fine with the hands being separate pieces.

 

I just recently measured a few combiners (in XTB Menasor thread).
These are the numbers I remember, to the top of the head:

Jinbao Devastator with upgrade-kit: 48 cm
XTB Menasor: 49 cm
Zeta Superion: 50.5 cm
DX9 Menasor: 51 cm

So if this Raiden is 55 cm, he will tower all the other combiners, 4 or 5 cm is pretty big difference, that's at least a head tall.

 

Post 756 on page 38 are all I know of in color.

 

We also have FT dalianjj said it would be the biggest .. Menasor/superion
For me, FT, Raiden will be 55 cm ..

Count me in to those who have no love for Japanese G1 (in fact If I had my way the Japanese would produce no tf media ever again) adore Overlord, find Raiden completely indifferent, yet I find the renders very very interesting.
