Yeah I knew of him as well and didn’t remember him when we were talking about the names earlier. All I could think of Mini-Con-wise was Blue Max and I knew that wasn’t what I was trying to remember.

Series 1: The Shrekformers.

Series 3: The Pooformers.

When the Allspark lands on Earth, it finds itself in a sewage plant, but it's not any machinery that gains life and transforms...

 

Thrust should be renamed squid head.

Big Daddy is named after a real hotrodder and turns into his car. He is the character.

 

During an exploration and supply carrying mission on-board the ship Trypticon takes on a bizarre turn, Sky Convoy with his small rag-tag group of Autobots finds themselves transported to the world of Love Live!, befriending a group of highschool school idol girls, and.... find themselves needing to defend this unfamiliar world from a mysterious evil Transformers faction from the moon?

 

Realizing an overreliance on him and the Matrix in a post-war universe, Optimus Prime sends himself into exile, with a remnant group of former Autobots and Decepticons following him for what promises to be one hell of an adventure in the far corners of the galaxy. JG1 characters also do their thing on a new age Cybertron as the b plot.

 

An Autobot ship from a distant post-war past drops out of transwarp to find a Cybertron that’s been deeply changed, and a ragtag group of Transformers find themselves fighting the religious fanaticism of a newly minted Maximal leader, bringing freedom to those who were forced to take new alt modes in a techno-organic world.

I have 4 and so, let me put it.


Series 1: regeneration

After optimus sacrifices himself to bring life to cybertron, the autobots rebuild cybertron but unbeknownst to them, Starscream rebuilds an army with decepticons scattered around the galaxy and wage what is called the second
Autobot-Decepticon war and Unicron is freed, bringing the bots and cons to form a temporary alliance to stop the chaos bringer.


Series 2: Galaxy ( it's like Cybertron/GF but different )


Unicron's destruction makes a black hole threatening the universe and the autobots race against time to gather the 4 cyber planet keys to awaken Primus before the decepticons can use them but unknown to both parties, the black hole is a portal to another dimension ruled by an eldritch god and one of the decepticons is determined to use the keys to unlock the portal and bring forth his master


Series 3: the beast wars


300 years after the end of the second Autobot-Decepticon war, maximals and terrorcons wage a costly war to which one of the 12 Terrorcon warlords, Megatron seeks to back in time and kill Optimus Prime but is followed by Optimus Primal and his rag tag team of Maximals


Series 4: beast machines


The maximals return to their own timeline, only to see that Megatron has taken over the galaxy with his army to terror trooper and Optimus Primal starts a resistance to fight Megatron

 

One that I made by accident in another thread:

The decepticons are the government and trade the citizens rights for "safety" (oppression), the autobots resist this and are freedom fighters.


One I would like to do

Cybertronian race began as organic life, now is realistic machinery; shorter lifespans, deadly civil war, go to red planet, see blue planet, bad guys infiltrate blue planet, blue planet has its own catastrophic issies going on, good guys fight uphill battle to save blue planet.

set in the same universe as tax fraud Optimus/"Breaking Prime":
1. Megatron and Soundwave live a sitcom-esc married life, but it's all the cyroimprisoned Galvatron's dreams.
2. In a post war society, Starscream is stuck in controversy after screaming out a slew of cybertronian and human slurs on live television in an interview gone wrong
3. Shockwave, his emotions restored after the war, with his perfect memory, decides to make right by everyone he's ever wronged, or at least those close to the ones he can't repay anymore. And it's a long list.

 

Think the last one would be a pretty fun show to watch

 

After the war Optimus prime retires from being a prime and becomes Orion pax, and joins the police force to stop the DJD from killing former decepticons.

 

This is only tangentially related, but having Optimus retire and go back to being Orion Pax is the best thing to do with the character after the war ends.

 

Or (heres the 4 word series pitch):
Let. Optimus. Stay. Dead.

 

Technically Optimus stayed dead in IDW after he died.

But he only died in the last 2 issues so I guess it might not really count.

 

Hot take: I wouldn't kill Optimus Prime at all. It's overdone, since I think almost every version of Optimus Prime has died at least once.
