I do like the look of Acid Rain stuff - but I have yet to buy any.. not sure why even I do like it - just not enough to jump in feet first on it I guess.
They had an medium armoured SUV looking thing out recently that I especially thought look really cool in a Gi Joe kinda way.

Oh and HZJ has the luna-space stuff up to buy now (all be loose) but a bit cheaper than the next cheaper - might be worth waiting a little while for anyone who wants to get them with a box though.

 

bbts and tfsource says they are to be released 4th quarter 2020. I have the VS-01 Mammoth and is a great figure/set compatible with dianauts.

 

"Snap Ships" from "PlayMonster", aparently more or less compatible with Diaclone Reboot/Lost Planet and Dianauts/Pilots.

 

Uh, what's the connection? Is there a Dia-plug that fits the SnapSocket or vice-versa?

Not sure which one I am looking forward to most. Ebay now as the two newest Rihio up in green, sand, and Blue so I tempted to buy a couple of them too - if I can decide what colour I want (I really wanted black -but they don't make a black set yet). I would by some snapships they appeal to my Babylon 5 fan self. Something to think of for next year perhaps.

I got the MFT / VECMA Lunar SPACE series items in today, I rather like them if you are only going to get the one the Moon Rabbit one is the one to get though - the other one feels a bit "unfinished" But they feel like they are supposed to do more stuff than is in the advertising images or on the packaging - the instructions only show a couple of modes and no combinations at all.

If I ever see them cheap I might buy a couple more as they do work very well with mixed parts. The Headless armless one looks very much like a police droid to me though.

Overall same concern as the Mammoth the quality is decent, but I think they are a tad expensive and I feel like they won't really come into their own until more stuff is available. But if I judge them not against other MFT products but again legit Diaclone they come out of it pretty well overall the pricing isn't such an issue then - as legit Diaclone prices are rather delusionally high anyway.

I suspect they retain a large amount of Diaclone backward compatability under all the new pieces too since the core of the designs remains that of a Diaclone mechsuit. So I'll have a play later and see what offical pieces work with them. & the Lunar pieces with pretty much any suit too.

It would be nice if they made some diaclone accessory sets in white & light gray though those would really complement them too.

I'd not recommend decanting that moon rock though it looks way to easy to loose. Perhaps if the was a tiny capsule of something you can put it in that would work well enough to hold it. I might knock something up out of an old nail polish bottle or something like that.

If anyone is interested, I got in both the Vecma Space Sets today. Opened for inspection, but I'm not going to keep them. I've gotten rid of most of my Diaclone stuff, so no point in keeping these. PM me if interested.

I hope not. I still wanted at least some Epsilon suits. Maybe the raptorheads and bug-y waruder units too.

 

Where does number 13 of the metal bits go on the lunar set? Can't see where it would go. I will try to get more sets when they reduce abit too.

 

Looked like it's supposed to go on the very back panel where the VUSA label is. Mostly hidden under the added on piece the shoulder weapon attaches to.

Just had another parcel for the 2 space men (gold and black) they come in a metal case too which is a nice touch, downside I thought they came with the egg thing but they don't, not much of a big deal but yeah.

 

IIRC MFT made a weibo post last month about changing the capsule packaging after fan feedback.

 

Whoo. It took them forever to escape Ohio but they finally arrived today. Both were fine with all accessories included and they're already set up and looking snazzy. Thanks for the quick sale, shame the USPS made it take so long.

 

I think the best form of packaging would be some sort of crate that fits the theme.
Speaking of Crates I wish that they'd include a crate for the larger suits with one of the MFT/Vecma releases like was the case with Sixshot as I am getting a fair number of suits with no container to put them in now (such as the one that came with Hardhead).

Did that Optimus / Megatron inspired 2 pack ever actually get released ?

I will say this much though I am very pleased to see Springer comes with a suit- I hope that is a good sign. I kinda wish they'd do another run of the KO Diaclone figures too - I'm starting to run out of them. I guess I might find some on aliexpress if I hunt for them.

 

Don't know. I've been looking for it since the photos were first shown. I want that silver Gamma suit.

 

i've been hoping they'd come out as well. both have a cool look and my headcannon was going to be the optimus suit was ginrai post masterforce.

i was really looking forward to it
