I’d be pissed if I were a Giants fan right now. Philadelphia basically threw the game by benching Jalen Hurts and putting in their third string quarterback. I doubt the team is happy about it either considering that Jason Kelce gave a speech similar to JJ Watt about not tanking and playing to win.

Its the difference between the 6th pick in the draft or the 9th pick. The Eagles pulled a Sixers and everyone is acting like they didn't know they were going to do that. Honestly you can give the Eagles three top picks from the first ten picks and they will find a way to screw it up. Howie Roseman needs to go and honestly Doug Pederson should go too, but because he won a Super Bowl we will be stuck with him.
Not too surprising. It’s been downhill since the 2017 playoff run, and now they have the #1 overall pick secured. Assuming the Chargers don’t fire their coach, it’s probably going to be the hottest job on the market. 4 draft picks in the top 50, Trevor Lawrence, decent amount of cap space, low state taxes, nice weather, patient owners, and low expectations. I’d take it.
Oh well let them cry. I mean, seriously. It was pretty annoying the amount of times Collingsworth mentioned the Giants during the game. Did he say anything about WFT fans being happy their team was going to be in the playoffs? If he did I missed it. If they wanted to be in the playoffs they should have won more games. Pretty simple. Fans/players of 6-10 teams have no license to complain about missing the playoffs no matter the circumstances. And I would say the same thing if it was my team. The owners have wanted that for a long time. But I didn't realize the the players had agreed to it.
This is now officially the hottest head coaching job on the market. Justin Herbert looked fantastic this past year, and you’re basically getting one of the best young QBs for pennies on the dollar while his rookie contract is still in effect. They have a ton of players on defense too like Joey Bosa and Derwin James. The Chargers have a ton of talent on both sides of the ball, and the vast majority of their losses have been one score games. Some of that was unlucky special teams plays, but a lot of that is coaching. In a way, I do hate to see it because Anthony Lynn seems like a great, charitable human being, but at the end of the day, he couldn’t get the job done. The only downsides to taking the Chargers job are that you have to play the Chiefs twice a year, and this is not an ideal time to be moving to California (hell, San Francisco has been sharing a stadium with their division rivals in Arizona for the last month and a half, and the Rose Bowl was played in Texas this year)
I read about this earlier, and just as I figured out how the scheduling works for my road games. I guess 17th game will be vs a team in another conference and not just the team rotation every 4 years.
Hearing that Matt Shaub will be retiring. I also heard something about Brees retiring. I expect Smith will retire also, but we'll see. Getting close to the end of that era (late 90/s - mid 2000's) of QB. Brady and Rodgers are some of the last ones left.
Ok, so who ya got for the Super Bowl? I say Chiefs/Seahawks, the 2 teams I despise more than anything.
