That is all. I assume this means end of January. I also assume this means ThreeA/ThreeZero orders first, then other retailers, as per usual.

 

Imagine having to deal with quality control issues after waiting all this time. Even though this is my most anticipated figure, after having dealt with TLK Prime I didn't dare to pre-order this one (even though the guys from Threezero CS were very helpful and communicative on the matter). I'll wait for reviews before pulling the trigger.

 

My TLK Prime turned out fine, but with this being refined with diecast, I think this’ll be a whole different beast. I get two of each DLX figure, but I only got one TLK Premium Prime since, other than the paint work, it didn’t feel like the new stuff. Tempted to get two Megs...

 

I hope you're right and it turns out flawless. You might wanna wait before double dipping here because it's very likely that they'll make this one in DLX scale too since they confirmed TLK DLX Prime is coming.

Yup. They replied to someone in the comments section on their TLK DLX Bee announcement post.

 

That's awesome news! Have they said anything about doing Lockdown? That would be amazing to see 3Z take on that design.

 

I've seen no mention about Lockdown unfortunately. He's on my priority list as well. Great design indeed and worthy of the premium treatment.

 

Agreed. I don't have facebook but anyone who can contact them in that way who wants them to do Lockdown please don't hesitate to let them know that we want it!

 

Trust me, people are flooding the comments section with requests whenever they post anything Transformers related (some even on non-related posts). The most mentioned ones are usually TF1/TF3/TLK Prime, Ironhide, Blackout, Shockwave, Starscream, Sentinel, Lockdown and so on. The people have spoken lol. I hope they bring out the original autobots and decepticons first.

 

Have they said anything about making any other characters from the movies?

 

I'm sure we'll get a DLX/Premium Bee and Prime from every single movie. Those are the only characters you really need, according to Hasbro.

 

Not really but a lot of people are asking for them and I'm sure they are aware of that. We just got to keep bombing them with requests I guess lol.

If they were to get to the black 60's Bee from AOE I'd be in heaven. Absolute best Bee from all the movies IMHO. Also one of the least likely to ever get any attention sadly. (although probably more likely than the new Bee from that movie only because he shares so many body panels with other versions making a repaint easier)

 

Man, you know that I only want Oreobot in the DLX line! It's the only one I care about!

But seriously, I'd love to get more characters from the first trilogy. The designs in TF1-TF3 were amazing. It'd be great to see them as proper accurate, detailed and articulated figures! Starscream, Barricade, any Megatron from the first trilogy, Ironhide, Sideswipe etc. Just name anyone and they'd be welcome in my collection.

 

But at the same time, those are most likely to get MPMs, so I'm torn. Lockdown to me is a good candidate for the DLX line since he's almost kibble-free, is very lean and could be super posable, and is very unlikely to get another transforming official release that really does him justice. I recently reacquired Peru Kill and I remembered all the ways in which he could be a million times better and more accurate.

But same with Oreobot, and of course he was the real hero of the story, soooooo...
