Finished watching the series and I’m glad I got too see it in Spanish. Sadly the voice acting for Prime and Megatron suffers from the same slow paced monotone issue. I guess in order to sync with the animation they had to drag the dialogue. The voice acting for Chromia, Bumblebee, Wheeljack, Starscream, Soundwave, Alpha Trion was superb and they seem very familiar dubs. I have to look which studio did the dub.

The series so far is all over the place and are trying to cram too much plots in a short amount of time. Feels like Machinima series.

 

Weird how I can’t choose Japanese language under my kid’s profile but I can in mine.

 

Just stick it in Scourge and feed Scourge to Unicron. Kill two birds with one Matrix.

 

With episode 5, I feel like they lost a bet and had to cram as much transformers lore name dropping into one episode as possible

Why couldn't Michael Bay come in and direct one of the episodes?

 

You blue text, but now I'm actually curious how a Michael Bay directed WFC episode would be like. Especially if it was in the middle like episode 3 or 4.

 

He'll bring in some Good Vibrations, and the series will win an Emmy or two.

 

After watching five episodes, I must admit that I am thoroughly enjoying it. Sure, the slow talk is a touch annoying but overall I think it is a one of the best TF series to date.

Bring on episode 6!

 

it was a pretty fun watch. lots of references I liked and a few things I was confused at, but it was good.

I find it funny how as I was thinking "Huh, guess that Quintesson thing is going unresolved" is when it shows her shmentie-ing Doubledealer's brain. I'm guessing she died in the explosion then?

Kind of sad Galvatron and Nemesis Prime were basically illusions of the mind tho. Would've been neat to see Primal fight Nemesis and BW Megs fight Galvatron or something, Oh well. That's what my toys are/will be for.

Lastly, Optimus losing his shit getting ready to kill Megs is kinda going against the whole "Don't lose your way" thing, isn't it?

That was great they did a great job well expect the voice acting.Can’t wait for kingdom.Hasbro is going in the right direction with cyberverse and this compared to how bad prime wars was also the idw comics are getting better and better too.

Did anyone in the show actually use the combat system? Was anyone smooshed by a bot wielding smashdown? My memory of the show is now blurred. If you want to sell the toys, shouldn't that have been central to the show? Looks like someone missed the memo or there was some serious disconnect between hasbro and rooster. Just looking at the pile of toys Ive collected recently I could make up better action scenes than what the show delivered.

 

Is it as bad as season 1? If so I'll know not to bother with it.

 

Yes, but in the way Raisin Bran looks at Grape Nuts and says, "At least I'm better than you".

 

Anyway finally got around to seeing it. The fact that I didn't watch it immediately showed how little I was pushed....

But.....

Its not bad. Some good moments. Some continuity nods and winks. Here's what stood out....

Primes voice actor just gets growly when he's mad. Doesn't suit prime.

Megs is the series scene stealer. Still utterly ruthless. Still pure megs.

Great to see scorponok and sky lynx. It seems scorponok is a group name and not just his name. He's the last scorponok. I was always a fan of the dead universe in idw so it was great to see prime and sky lynx have a chat in the DU.

Good action sequences. Great to see galvatron and a nice nod to the animated movie plus blink and you miss unicron.

All on all sets up kingdom. That has to be Dino at the end surely.
