Calm down? I asked a question, it's not like I was using caps lock or acting hysterical. Your the one who is taking a simple question as more than it is. I'm on holiday, didn't read through it clearly. Every time I get on the phone or my computer 3 minutes later I have twin 3 year old nephews jumping in my lap asking what am I doing, can you show us cat videos again. So yea I saw that it went back a few pages and asked why rather than read through every post.

 

ANYWAY, yes, they are starting to license out their books. But it's a sign of success, not a sign of failure. You can't get someone to shoulder your operating cost AND pay you a license fee on top of that if you're not already a popular and successful commodity.

That said, I think AT&T doesn't see the forest for the trees in terms of what DC could be as a book publisher. But AT&T's making mistakes in the moment doesn't mean that the brand DC has been building the last couple of years isn't incredibly strong.
