Well that’s lame. Especially since I don’t see who’d even be a commander. Also kills good combiners

To be fair, how many more characters do they have left for titan class?

I wish they would revisit fort max. The titans return max leaves a lot to be desired. Especially in city form.

Ultimately, all I really care about is that it arrives safely, but I do find that a bit disappointing. I'd like the art box intact and the handles on the sides concern me.

BBS now has/had 3 of these on thier site for around $800 each. There has not been a second round of pre-orders as far as I have seen right?

A dedicated mold for a Titan Class Fortress Maximus would be great. I would even crowd fund that.

I agree. With how relatively G1 accurate most of the Titans since Fort Max have been, a proper G1 Titan Fort Max would be nice.

This is why I am grateful that BBTS had the Takara G1 reissue listed at a significant discount at one point. I bought it mostly because I could at the time and can display it in city mode and the new Fort Max will forever be a decent giant robot.

I’m sure they’ll have a handful of people drop out of the preorders between now and release date. Would suck to lose that deposit, but I’m sure it’ll happen. And likely they’ve got a few extras coming in case of returns, so those will go up if not needed.

Plenty! Just repaint characters that i can think off of the top of my head consist of Black Zarak, Metrotitan, Omega Sentinel, Dark Guardian, and G2 Devastator.

There is also the potential of re-doing Metroplex and Fort Max to bring both characters in line with the new quality of Titan figures that Trypticon introduced to us.

Then there is no shortage of characters that could absolutely get the titan class treatment.
the ones with the most likelihood of ever seeing titan toys I think are as follows in no particular order.
    Tidalwave
    Primus
Another Unicron (different mold from HasLab)
    Grandus
The Nemesis (If only to be a counterpart to the Ark)

as well as other titans in general that originate from other media, these ones are a stretch but they do exist in a larger fashion than than just being one off named nobodies who never did anything of worth.

    Caminus
    Tempo/Vigilem from IDW
    Iaconus from Cyberverse.

It won't be January. Hasbro would have told us by now.

There's probably a bit of truth in both dates. I wouldn't be surprised if they start leaving the factories in January, but we probably shouldn't be expecting these in our hands until March.

Just finished watching the Netflix Earthrise and I kinda like the nods to the '86 movie as well as the way they incorporated Galvatron and Unicron.
It was short but it was a fresh turn and idea instead of the same old way of getting Galvatron in.

Nah, same old, same old. Mightily close to some of the ideas underlying Furman's Target: 2006 story.

Fun stuff, though :)  Enjoyed it rather more than siege. Am wondering what's coming in Kindom, and when.

If rumors are true, none, no more titan class after the Ark supposedly. (which is what got this off topic conversation started in the first place, lol)

Pretty sure he knows that, and was just listing potential Titan-viable candidates.

I really doubt any of those would happen, especially the Japan-exclusive characters. Tidal Wave as a Titan was always one of those pipe-dream sort of scenarios. Commander seems much more viable.
