My backorder for Cheetor and Blackarachnia arrived. Along with Rattrap. I'll have to pick them up either tomorrow or Friday.

 

This may be recency bias, but I think Kingdom Cyclonus is the best mainline figure I’ve ever handled.

The only issue I had was his excessively squared chin. So I did a little filing/shaving with a blade and needle file to give his face more of a taper: IMO he looks more dignified and aristocratic now, which is always how I imagined him.

Guys ... this figure is as good as it gets.

Got Cyclonus and Primal coming in the mail from cmdstore, and Blackarachnia and Warpath on the way from bbts. I'm excited to handle my first Kingdom deluxes and voyagers, especially after I've seen so many good words on them all

I’d like to correct something about Blackarachnia’s Kingdom figure description:
“Blackarachnia transforms into a spider that is not quite a black widow; lacking the distinctive hourglass marking on its abdomen.”

Having had the rare opportunity to come across an actual black widow spider over the summer, it should be noted that there are a couple species, and it’s possible that the one Hasbro used is the Northern Black Widow, a species more commonly found in RI, which is where I lived until last month.

Maybe Blackarachnia’s lack of hourglass is a subtle nod to Hasbro’s own geographic location?

Here’s the one I found while taking my pool down:

I'm more torn on choosing between the two than I thought I'd be. But that's mainly down to cheap reasons of nostalgia. Great as ER Warpath's tank mode, the old Generations figure is a lot more play-with-able. But the other guy stepped right out of 'The Smelting Pool' (he must be very warm). ARGH!

 

I'm kinda turned off by the way the cheetah legs look on his shins. I'm hoping it'll look better in person.

Also sad about the lack of a gut gun. Hopefully Tigatron will have that.

But hey, are those wrist swivels I see? Nice.

Honestly drugging the Maximals never worked out. Stick them in their beast modes, they just learn to commune with their wild sides. Reprogram Rhinox, he nearly takes over. Give him a virus to force him to exaust his energon supply, get beaten by a fart.

There's a Bot Bot that's a rubber ducky isn't there? See now that one's going to get more valuable...

 

I like to think he was a closeted rubby ducky fan until then.

Haha! My 13 year old son woke me up at 1 am in a panic the night we found it. He had a bite on his arm and thought for sure he was dying. Only way I could convince him was to rattle off the symptoms he would feel. We all had a good laugh for days after.

True, but my statement regarding the marking on the top still stand.

 

I think STT would be more technically accurate than WSFT.
