I wonder if this was being concurrently developed with the Predaking that they revealed, that has since gone silent. The 2 are rivals in Victory so it makes sense, Zeta did the same thing with Bruticus and Superion, being simultaneous developments. Of course those 2 are technically not arch rivals, that would have required Menasor or Defensor, but developing an Autobot and Decepticon together seems to be their MO.

There's no way this isn't a parts former, each thigh would be a bot alone, they are huge and too well proportioned. Judging by the picture up at BBTS of combined mode. Plus there are hip skirt flaps and everything. I suppose the thighs could be the legs of the bot they are calling "iron arm" but they are as wide as the other leg bots for crying out loud, he'd have to be huge.

 

Yeah but what's the shipping cost and taxes on each one for USA customers?
I'm curious to know what ShowZ and Baba's pricing will be for these.

 

What is the height of the individual bots and combiner? Rough estimates are fine too. For instance do these guys scale with Fans Toys Stunticons?

It's NOT a panstformer - you can see combined mode panels on both modes of #3.

 

If i'm getting TFWiki's breakdown of the team correct (Shouki is the torso, Getsuei & Yukikaze are the legs, Suiken & Seizan are the arms and Kaen is the pelvis/waitst), I have reason to believe that this will be a pantsformer. Though a necessary one in comparison to say, Cang Toys' Predaking (as in that has a pantsformer for whatever reason, and the Trainbots are one because they were since they were concieved).

Moonwalker was the Zeta name, yes. But Dark Night is the Moon Studio name for Getsuei.

 

It's not a pantsformer. Study #3 - the waist panels are stacked on his back behind his head, the combined thigh panels are on his legs and on his train mode. You can tell he transforms similar to the original by the ends of the train (his legs and combined thighs) splitting and rotating around a central core. Not to mention the combined mode thighs have folding train wheels on the back.

#3 robot mode legs are the thighs, guaranteed. Not a pantsformer.
