He is awesome looking!!!

 

He really is! I like his bot mode better personally because of all the rubberized plastic his skin is made of; makes it harder to move and pose without popping out of the tabs.

 

I gotta say. There are hundreds of times whilst playing this game over the years that someone will post a challenge and its a toy that isnt scheduled to be released at brick and mortar (my USUAL place to get figures) for several weeks, or its released overseas WAAAY before making it to Arkansas and i think; "There's no way they ALREADY have that figure...  !"
I understand now the feeling that some of you may get when doing this.
It was my first time and quite likely my last time doing it; but i gotta say. It felt good.

Having said that, almost time for a new challenge and i have a long day and night ahead of me tomorrow so im gonna rack out soon.

Let's go with one of the TFs I got for Christmas: Takara Animated Optimus.

 

Too shinny for my tastes.  

 

Yeah, I never understood why Takara did the Animated line like that. But for what it's worth, this was one of the better ones.

im planning on getting him. Is there a way to get rid his butt flap?

 

Not without removing the backpack entirely (which leaves him hollow and without shoulder weapons) or some serious modification

unless you are ok with parts forming, then I suppose cutting of the flap is easy enough as there are enough tabs to hold it on In vehicle mode

OSKO WFC Optimus prime!

I got all 3 variants that exist in one fell swoop!

Of course, even though this has paint apps different from the official deluxe release (you know, when someone plays specifically a takara shinny, and doesn't allow a hasbro-dull to counter... that kinda thing) - (hey, I'm guilty too!  ) - any official variant is allowed to counter... including darkside.

I just wanted to show off my OSKO's!  

 

How’s the plastic quality on that KO?

 

The plastic quality is on par, but it has NO ratchets anywhere... it was a bitch just to get it to stand next to a quarter!

Like me, you'd get frustrated through the transformation because its spaghetti until things 'click' or 'mesh' with other parts.

I seriously need to find some appropriate "helper" stands if I want to display them in bot mode once I close the cabinet.

But being stuuuuuuupid rare now, I'm just stoked to have them.

Shout-out to Paul @SirToys , because that guy's a beast at finding rare KO's in the wild over in China.

BTW, brotha... any wfc optimus variant of this mold is allowed... get on it.
