huh weird when they first came out i went to see his preorders on tfsource and bbts and was sold out...kinda weird

 

G2 Megatron is not related to Sandstorm availability...not to mention garish.

Pre-orders are still up all over the place with a few exceptions.

The Siege seeker null rays from Nonnef also work on the ER seeker mold with minimal modifications (there's a bubble on the 5mm post that needs to be cut off)

A friend in America ordered it for me. I didn't trust Takara at the time.

 

Now if only they could do BLACKOUT (G2 STARSCREAM template), G2 STARSCREAM and RAMJET. Maybe even G2 JAZZ and INFERNO (who would be slightly brighter than the upcoming Kingdom version).

 

I'm sure, in the coming years, most of the Seige, Earthrise and Kingdom molds will be repainted to Kingdom come and back...

Oh man I'm really looking forward to having this guy in hand. I don't even like the Earthrise mold but this thing existing still makes me really happy. Hopefully a third party makes a soundbox and maybe g2 style armaments (which frankly I'm baffled haven't been made already for G2 CW Silverbolt).

 

So anybody going to headswap Sandstorm's head with Starscream's for a box art accurate version?

Mimicking his proposed G2 art pose (I ditched that machine gun of his on the left).

I was about to add new decepticon sigils on him because it was so blurred out then it hit me, he's like a desert camo Seeker so not having overt sigils is part of his charm.

Also wished his name could have been changed to Sandstrom/Sandsturm to distinguish him from G1 Sandstorm.

G2 Sandstorm just dropped into my BBTS Pile of Loot this morning. Can't say I was expecting him this early. When I woke up and saw the email from BBTS I assumed it was gonna be Cyberverse Deluxe Soundwave or a SS86 figure but nope. G2 Sandstorm dropped today apparently.


I might wait a bit to ship him though cause I wasn't expecting him this early, and I need to clear shelf space for another voyager seeker XD - name wise though for me he's gonna be Sandstream or Duststorm. Still haven't decided between the two yet.

 

I actually got him a few weeks ago at BBTS along with a few other figures that dropped early. The only reason why I didn't cancel Sandstorm is because it seems like is going to be a rare toy.
