I've been buying Gamestop exclusive Star Wars figures/POPs for the past couple years. Never seen Transformers till recently. I guess with the gaming industry selling more games online Gamestop understands the collectables market.

I was informed today, by the person I am currently contractually obligated to die with, that new purchases are suspended until I get around to opening OLD purchases and get them out of the office. She may have a point!

 

Surprised to see Maketoys ‘Premium’ Downbeat waiting for me when I got up today, courtesy of ShowZ. Took less than 10 days to get here, which, in the current circumstances, I consider some kind of fucking miracle!

Whilst I’m glad to finally have what I consider to be THE best take on Jazz that we’ve had so far, I’m very disappointed that mine didn’t come with the stickers, as I can’t stand the ‘Agent Meister’ tampos, and that there’s a few loose, and some dodgily designed, bits that fall off during transformation - door wings and rear windows pop off far too easily, ***and the hinges on his front wheels hinder his arms*** - this was my error as I hadn’t tabbed his shoulders in underneath, but the other bits are just extremely loose :S

I need to get the Toyhax set for him and to paint his gun and missile silver and then he’ll at least look the business.  

 

I got this for THREE DOLLARS. Amazing figure. I fell in love with the car mode and caved as soon as I saw a glimpse of the intuitive and incredibly enjoyable transformation. He doesn’t have his pipes but I don’t care, he looks fine without them. Animated isn’t exactly a favourite of mine but dang I love this guy.

Got him on sale for $1.49 at Fred Meyer's (Krogers) in the Pacific Northwest. Series 3, number 16 on the blind pack. This is like my only BotBot, and I got the best one of them all!  

 

I went to Target... found a Turbo-Revvin' Young Punk and a Thundercracker-scented bar of soap.
