Finally, TC gets BBB right - if you think about how you turn a big round car into a slender robot, it's really not that hard because the three things you basically just have to do is stuff the car inside the body + do the MP44 trick where you take a portion of the front section and turn it into the lower legs + use faux parts.

I know people get upset over faux parts and believe me, I can see where they are coming from because, in theory, it sounds more impressive when you use real parts in both modes. But if you want a 100 percent accurate BBB (or any of the movie designs when I think about it), you kind of have to as the METAL LITERALLY FREAKING CONTORTS ITSELF TO IMPOSSIBLE SHAPES TO REPLICATE ON A TRANSFORMING ACTION FIGURE. And when you think about it, faux parts can be just as impressive. For instance, designers have to take into account the space available to store faux parts in a transformation and where to hide the real parts so it doesn't create a weird effect of two parts replicating the same thing being on two different areas of the body.

Even the profile view matches. Almost no backpack. I hope the build quality is good, because the more small moving parts you have, the more chance for something to break. Otherwise this looks like the best MP Bee Movie Bee.

Nice bot mode, but the car mode suffers a lot imo.

 

The engineering is next level. Very impressive.

Car mode hinges are still pretty ugly... but after seeing that transformation I don’t care a bit. Whoever designed that is on another level; I am extremely impressed and excited to order one of my own.

 

What's beautiful in a pure hole in the knee?

 

It moves and it works. I saw the hole, but the way it operates is pretty damn cool. I can see not everyone will like it, but it was a gutsy design choice.

 

I can't tell, is that a gap between the hood and the rest of the chest or just a gray/silver piece?

As wrong and overly complex as it is, MPM7 did give me some fun times while I had it.

 

Not as dated as the official MPM VW bee

Only thing I find disappointing is that it's slightly taller than mpm3, ideally I'd like it to be equal height with mpm jazz, or slightly smaller


I don't think any of the current options are sized for my taste, but I can appreciate the engineering and work put In
