These posters have saved the series, dare I say the franchise

 

If i worked for rooster teeth the plot would go sonething like this... 

Ep 1 - Transformers leave cybertron 
Ep 2 - On way to earth, to save time the quintessons appear. 
Ep 3 - Some new transformers with familiar shapes come along 
Ep 4 - after some very slow talking they all fight 
Ep 5 - optimus prime dies ( on way to earth) 
Ep 6 - earth appears and they can all try out the new earth alt modes they already have 

 

I have to admit that the Mercenary faction symbol isn't my favourite, but I still want more Mercenaries in my collection. I'm hoping we get a Mercenary Doubledealer down the line.

If I wanted the exact same characterizations as last time I'd rewatch the original series.

 

Then what’s the point of giving characters character? If you don’t want them to be consistent or resemble themselves, then have Batman murder in every show, and let Optimus be a murderous raging psychopath in every adaptation.

 

Going into the year 2021, all posters we buy at the store should be like this. Or 3D holograms. And we should have flying cars & floating cities by now. What happened? Things were supposed to be so different by the year 2000. But nothing has changed. The phones got smaller & the TV's thinner. Big deal! 

 

Sweet. Season 2 will be on par with Season 1.

I hope Bug Bite, Exhaust, Doubledealer, and Soundblaster will have a lot of screen time, but if it's like season one they will be as interesting as Hotlink, Scrapface, and Deception Mirage.

Hope they have Blurr as the main character in Season 3. He will be the only Transformer that does not speak and move in slow motion, but in normal/average human speed.

 

I know this wasn't the intent of your post, but that seems to be the entire point of Siege (and presumably Earthrise).

You know what... I'll give them credit that actually is a nifty little looping animation.

 

Just noticed on one of the posters with SideSwipe, Prime and Megs that they have done a iffy job of photoshopping primes head mask over his chest. I originally thought that maybe who ever gets final call on these posters didn't like that his face would be cut off a little so some one had to render out the same pose minus the torso and pasted it over the top inadvertantly "Pat Lee"-ing him in the process as his neck would need to be doing crazy things to make this work... Then it clicked that I don't even think this head is actually from the same render as the body. Only the head has a secondary yellow light source hitting the back/side of the head and the cab lights should be too far forward to do this. So I suspect the orignal render with it's more face level camera angle didn't look great so they pulled a still form another source and slapped it over the top. Either way all they had to do to make it work was trim off the mask/chin tip and maybe add a little shadow. Took me maybe all of 2 mins plus 3 more for my super sketchy example.

 

Still super hyped for this series. I don’t care what the haters think. Course im still gonna need to keep off the forums for a few days since I won’t be able to watch the whole season till Saturday. Oh well.
