I think it’s possible because MMC is going out of their way to avoid Planet-X stuff. So I imagine their may be some cooperation going on. And the Scavengers are more in MMC’s wheelhouse.

 

Yeah. And currently, their idw line has chosen all the bigbots. That even includes victory leo who is now thanks to idw 2.0 a idw big bot. So I doubt they'd do the scavengers.

They have pretty much said this project is dead right now. There is no prototype, nothing planned atm. All they had were the mock up designs. Once planet x released theirs for pre order it was over.

I wish they made more honestly

 

For those of us that collect IDW style transformers this would have been perfect, because I for one have wanted a true idw grimlock forever but planet-x doesn't do the job. And for me it's because it's way over sized for a IDW planet-x,MMC reformatted,chug scale collection. Heck it doesnt even scale with planet-x IDW line this guy is over a inch taller then kadmos(Star Saber). So I guess no grimlock for me 

 

Yeah I 100% agree, but I don’t think this is ‘dead’. As I understand it, it is in limbo. Maybe 2022-2023. If I got confirmation of it’s eventual release I would gladly wait, but this “maybe” status is murder.

That sucks. I wish Planet X would just stay in their lane and continue with FOC instead of stepping all over MMC's toes.

 

Yeah but you might wanna scroll back through the thread and see where the rep said once planet x released theirs for preorder that killed the project because they were releasing soon and mmc didnt even make it to prototype. So if and thats a big if they continue it, its minimum 3 to 5 years away before they start up again. And they were not going to go into direct competition with planet x on the same figure.
