Okay so if we are getting Prowl, a Classics Ironhide and Ratchet may be possible. Kick ass. The one I am most excited to see is Powerglide. I wonder if he will still be an A-10, which would be huge at an ultra size and awesome. I did not see Powerglide coming at all, so I wonder what other characters we will see in later waves?

 

Hey, just re-read some of the prvious posts. Just stating the obvious. I think there is a strong, don't ask, don't show policy on the site (shoulder shrug). i don't know. Ask a mod about the rules.

Not really. The arms match, but the rest is different... though the fundamental arrangement of parts is the same. And he's obviously much less beefy than that DW style illustration. I like it, but I far prefer the legs in the concept art.

This one looks like a yellow Classics Rodimus with his head on backwards, and Alt Mirage's legs.

I'm also thinking that you could elect to transform Sunstreaker the same way as Sideswipe if you wanted to. It would probably look cooler, though I appreciate the effort Hasbro made to have them not use the same transformation.

While it didn't rock my socks or anything, I'll certainly buy it (though the notion of paying more to see a picture of the toy, than for the actual toy itself is pretty absurd when you really think about it).  

It's a good TF overall, and it fills me with anticipation to see Prowl (an old fave of mine).

At this point I'd really like to see what Powerglide looks like.

Sunstreaker (seen legally   ) looks decent to me. I had a little ?? reaction to the pic initially, but the car mode looks great, and the robot mode looks as Sunstreakery as any other Classics toy looks like themselves. I think I'll like it once I eventually get one and get transformations all properly worked out (not to mention obvious alternate transformations)

 

I think he actually does look similar to the concept art, despite what everyone else says. The concept art shows him with the tires behind his legs, and the hood on his chest. The picture we have basically shows him backwards (tires on front, hood on back), so it's hard to say it looks different when we're not seeing the same side of it. But the shape is very very similar (except the engine isnt on his back and his head is a weird shape, and like everyone says, he's muuuuch skinnier. But he's not like, freakishly skinny. It's basically like he'll fit in better with Mirage than Rodimus)

 

Sunstreaker's pretty neat. I'm surprised that Octane (Tankor's just the name on the packaging, not the actual character name, as far as I care) is just a Deluxe. Maybe Powerglide is a Deluxe and Octane is an Ultra, and they just got mixed up?
Either way, I'm really looking forward to these, and the Seacons as well.

I got to see the pic... looks like he's got some excellent articulation, too, but probably not to the scale of Classics Mirage.

I'm left wondering how different Sideswipe will be. I think they said something about them sharing a mold (the headsculpt will probably be different, this one definitely is 100% Sunstreaker)... I don't see the car hood anywhere on the bot, I wonder if you can transform Sideswipe "backwards" so the car front becomes the chest and the roof/windshield on Sunstreaker's chest becomes his back. Either way, this guy looks freakin' sweet. I'm excited.

Ooh, on second look, yeah, that is the car front on his back. So maybe you spin the waist and somehow reverse the arms and ta da! Sideswipe. I think that would be pretty cool.
