the dragonzord would fit more comfortably from SS86 Grimlock, and the T-Rex zord would fit with BW Megatron much more.

Huffer and Grapple but I doubt that with one in ER and one in Kingdom. I really wouldn’t care: it would just be cool.

I think Scourge or Cyclonus are more likely for Alpha Trion.

I’ve also suggested they need to do a Wasp from TFA using the CJ/BB Earthrise mold before people get burnt out on it. We’ve already got four figures from this mold.

If they are going to do Alpha Trion as a selects release, I could see them using the Cyclonus or Scourge molds instead of Tigatron.

This "alternate future" thing has me thinking...

I was already thinking Netflix: Kingdom was going to end up on prehistoric earth with a bunch of future people and the Ark/Nemesis crews fighting as Galvatron, Rodimus, and the Beast Wars cast fighting over what the future gets to be. That makes all the Earth vehicle toys non-story toys or they'll be seen in alternate futures but the main versions on the show won't take earth modes. Maybe Nemesis Prime is an Optimus who ends up as Unicron's herald after dying.

Again, educated guessing... But it gives us a sense of how the toys fit together with the story and the trading cards.

WFC could be building to a showdown on prehistoric earth to shape the future of the franchise in Kingdom and these cards could be possible teases of the post-WFC continuity. At least, 1 in 3 of the cards.

After WFC, there are winners and losers and the Transformers who survive wake up millions of years later on earth and things play out differently but some of the cards come true.

So Kingdom is ground zero for a new continuity shaped by visitors from different futures with different agendas.

 

Oh yeah, I really LOVED the addition of the "rangers" from the armors. But especially with Kingdom and my far-flung hope of eventually getting a non-chrome Havoc, I couldn't even begin to budget for this.

 

Well I completely misunderstood then. It’s a Kingdom speculation thread so I assumed we were talking about possible retools/repaints for releases to coincide with but not in the mainline, like exclusives, because we already know what’s in the main line.

So I thought the suggestion was for a Tigatron as Battlecat. When Alpha Trion was brought up I thought SS Scourge or even Kingdom Cyclonus would be good candidates for Alpha Trion.

Battlecat would be cool but being Mattel property I don’t see it happening.

It’s completely subjective but I also think that TR Alpha Trion was a horrible figure.

 

The two reuses I can see being used for Tigatron other then Universe 1.0/2.0 Leo Prime is Tigatron's prototype colors and a new BW esque take on G1 Catilla.

So I've not been keeping up with these speculation threads lately, (Seems to have become more of a crossover concept thread recently.) but has anyone else contemplated the prospect of them doing some kind of "Netflix version" of Leader Megatron, but in the 90's toy colors?

wonder what they'll do for the next line if pixelmaster's claim that armada wont happen till at least 2023 is true? when it comes to beast wars it'll probably have a mixture of s2 and bw2 if the rumor of lio convoy is accurate with the small handful of s1 characters that haven't be done yet. g1 is what I'm curious about, if rumors are true we'll see a new optimus and megatron but will it refresh other characters or it will mostly be g1 characters we haven't gotten yet, perhaps we'll get g2 stuff

 

Well there was that brief mention of megatron being a helicopter, perhaps they're looking to do more fresh ideas rather than rehash?

 

i just wonder if the next line g1 wise will primarilt be stylized refreshes of characters we got from wfc or characters that haven't been updated in a while
