North Tampa Update: Walmart at Bruce B Downs/New Tampa had: 1 x Netflix Bee 3 x Netflix Elita 1 5 x Netflix Optimus Multiple Netflix Wheeljack, Red Alert,and Impactor 1 x ER Grapple 1 x ER Starscream drumroll.. and the first ER Wave 2 figure I've seen in person. 1 x ER Airwave!
I never heard of the practice period. In all honesty, Ive only ordered 2 items online from Target: Redwing and Runabout. So I had no previous experience. I got no issues going into target and walmarts to hunt. I wear my mask and social distance. Follow the science. Corona isnt flying around the air like spores, its droplets that come from peoples mouths that hit the ground at around 6-8 feet. Just get in, get out, avoid people and use hand sanitizer and youll be fine. The people who are catching the s**t are socializing and not wearing masks.
Walmart on Juliet Blvd in Naples had a bit of Netflix Wave 2: 2 Elita-1s, 3 Wheeljacks, and 1 Optimus Prime. No Bumblebee or Soundwave. Target on Tarpon Bay Blvd in Naples had 1 Rung and a few Micromasters, and that was it. The Christmas shopping rush hit hard. That, or they never restocked after Black Friday.
Amazon just did this, so it isnt something only Target does. I just got an email to approve a delay for my Amazon Galactic Odyssey Ratchet set or they would cancel it and I had to do it by desktop only.
The point is to reduce infections so that someone who is healthy like you doesn’t spread it to someone who could truly suffer from it. Going to a convention might be relatively harmless for you, but it may lead to you infecting someone who’s old or sick. Someone going to a convention could quarantine themselves afterwards for a period to make sure no one else is infected, but if they’re going to a convention, I doubt they care enough to do that. And ~300K is still quite significant, regardless of what someone who was incorrect expected.
I feel like I was lucky to actually get soundwave at walmart.com, every place that I so far checked didn't have them in Florida, I hope that we can find the nemesis prime pack
I ordered Nemesis Prime from hasbro pulse. I didn't want to take a chance. I found Earthrise Megatron and Quintesson once at a Pensacola Walmart. Checked many others and never found again.
The Apopka Walmart definitely just unloaded a couple cases of the Netflix figures, I was just there previously so they were probably put out in the last 24 hours. Naturally, because of the huge, unchecked scalper problem this particular store has (this is the location where somebody disembowels all the Marvel Legends and throws them loose and in pieces back in the boxes, and they only get marked down about a dollar), every single Bumblebee is gone already but the shelves are packed with enough Wheeljacks and Elitas to mean that we won’t be seeing the shelves are replenished in this store until well into Kingdom. I love that this is how my closest location operates.
Anyone see Bluestreak at Walgreens recently? Wondering if the US ever got a shipment of Bluestreak with the mold fix
I recently checked every Walgreens along my driving route from Apopka to Punta Gorda and found one Bluestreak in a beat-to-shit package out in Englewood. This year and its endless exclusives has been the absolute nadir of the hobby. Years with weak, anemic release schedules were better than a year of phenomenal toys that were barely available and instantly gone to languish with quadrupled prices on eBay.
Found one Netflix Bumblebee on a shelf in a random aisle and put him back with the 15 or so Elita Ones/Wheeljacks at the Walmart off East Colonial near Alafaya Trail.
At around 8:00 p.m. last night, Tuesday, December 22, 2020, the Walgreens on 400 Hialeah Drive, Hialeah, Florida 33010 had 2 Bluestreaks. They also had 1 Cyberverse 1 Step Changer Megatron X for anyone interested.
