Same here. I love playing with my figures every now and then and I'm always worried when I pick the ones with large amounts of clear plastic of my shelf. I was honestly surprised when I saw that they put a separate clear plastic piece for SS Roadbuster, for example

 

Soundwave has gaps al over the place

 

As someone with gaps all over my body this makes me happy that us gap-folks are finally being represented in media.

That looks bad, even for my standards (I wasn't planning on buying Soundwave, so I really shouldn't be complaining)

 

Holy shit he's a fucking shell. You could practically put another whole toy in him Pretender-style.

Guess the design quality of the first wave didn't really pass on to the later ones.

 

Well despite the setbacks i was right he would look better in person also he seems to be bigger than other deluxes (pictures aren’t mine these are tweets credit the original post)

My wife was just at Target and she said the toy dept was mostly barren and picked over and didn’t see Starscream.

 

Yeah, mine's pretty barren. Oh well....

 

Oh Geez... He's becoming a bit of wasted potential of the hollowness he has there. It's a shame. I wanted a Deluxe Cyberverse Soundwave so badly and it turned out a bit of a disappointment.

 

I had to run to Target to get a few things for Christmas and found these guys! There were two more Starscream left on the pegs. Wasn’t expecting to find anything. No Prowl but that’s okay.

 

To add to my post above, now the Decepticons have a better chance against the Autobots. All of the Cyberverse figures are actually my sons but I couldn’t resist to put all them together for a group shot.

 

Mmm... Soundwave is one tall boy. I’m surprised with all the size classes Hasbro has been pulling out with Cyberverse, they didn’t mark him as the first ever “voyager” with a 29.99 price tag.

 

Really wish Soundwave's dangly bits would swivel up against his back.


And that he wasn't hollow....
