Strange, yeah. I saw they were available to order for pick up there this morning (assuming the same one) and so I put in an order (as did my wife - it is tough with 5 collectors in the house) and both of our orders got cancelled. Thanks, Target!

I was the second guy. They found one Thrust in the back and then they were out. I went to the next store that showed stock and they were already gone. I’m still looking.

 

Same happened to me at Irving. What is going on with these stores?

 

people are picking them up before the online order can get fulfilled. they're often just grabbing them off the shelf for the in-store pickup. At least in his case.

Not full cases. That doesn't sound right.

Pearland showed 0 in stock last night (actually 'not sold at this store') and 1 this morning. But they had all four on the shelves when I got there. Grabbed three for me and my friends. Left one but I think the system showed sold out.

To clarify, before my purchase the stock finder showed 1. The website showed 'limited availability '. The in-store scanner showed 4.

Well, at least this target by me had two or 3 a few days ago

And then had 2 to today, while cases run at 4. I spoke with the local target stocker/lead and he confirmed the numbers on his own.

 

This is exactly what I figured - That is the good and bad about ordering for pickup from the store. Shoppers can be (and usually are) faster than the order pickup employees.

 

Walmart on 79 has all of the new Netflix wave, including both voyagers. Minus a single Soundwave now. Glad to be done for the year.

 

Picked up a Netflix BB from Westoaks Walmart last night; was the only one there. Also picked up an Earthrise Wheeljack for 10 since I hadn't gotten one yet; I think they had one more. They got plenty of the other Netflix stuff except maybe just 1 Soundwave.

 

Did you happen to notice if there were any 3.75" star wars vintage collection figures? Or any signs of a star wars end cap?

 

I didn’t look. I’m sorry! They were unloading a big pallet of stuff and my brain saw Transformers and was kind of in shock (as I’ve been to so many other Walmart’s and have been striking out everywhere). But I will say, they looked more stocked than most places I’ve been in lately.

 

What I've heard on the Star Wars forum during the Carbonized Mandalorian hunt is that Target actually closes and no employees actual get into the store until opening time, so even if you place an online order, any customers waiting at the store before it opens will get to the items first.

Got Doubledealer and ER Prime for $25 a pop at the Walmart on Preston near Main in Frisco just now, left three of each behind.

I ended up with an extra Soundwave too, in case anyone’s still looking for one. I picked one up in store a few weeks ago and gave it to my son and we kept our two preorders as well, just in case.

 

Yup. You were right. It seems that a second round is starting to show up.
