There was no book, just a postcard with generic info on the line meant for press that may not be as informed as we are.

Thankfully, Earthrise Bumblebee at least wasn't mismatched and didn't have that awful yellow the earlier pics of him had. Tho' if I had to pick, I'd much rather Streaker get his color scheme right over Bee.

I will say I saw half of season one I kinda like what I saw but it feels to much like politics crap in this in season one not enough fighting with more talking try to find peace that’s not Megatron way that’s prime way maybe action will pick up I won’t be bored watching end of season one. Maybe season two will make up with more action less politics talking crap

    Excellent shots as usual, TONY_B.
    Especially Netflix Earthrise Soundwave.

Not directly related, but was looking over the list of S1/S2 characters - and there are acceptable equivalents from WFC & SS86 knocking out most of the list. Especially the Decepticons. I hope that they get done properly before the DNA switch, whenever that comes. Got closer to my goals in 3 years than 15 with Masterpiece.

    TF S1 S2 List.jpg

    Needed:

    Brawn
    Gears
    Windcharger
    Slag
    Snarl
    Sludge
    Swoop
    Blaster
    Perceptor
    Seaspray
    Cosmos
    Beachcomber
    Powerglide

    Superion (Team)
    Defensor (Team)

    Buzzsaw
    Shrapnel
    Bombshell
    Kickback

    Blitzwing

    Menasor (Team)
    Bruticus (Team)

    Done in WFC or SS86:

    Bumblebee
    Cliffjumper
    Huffer

    Sideswipe
    Bluestreak
    Trailbreaker
    Wheeljack
    Sunstreaker
    Ratchet
    Prowl
    Mirage
    Hound
    Ironhide
    Jazz
    Optimus Prime

    Omega Supreme
    Jetfire

    Grimlock

    Red Alert
    Smokescreen
    Hoist
    Grapple
    Inferno

    Warpath

    Thundercracker
    Skywarp
    Starscream
    Megatron
    Soundwave
    Frenzy
    Rumble
    Laserbeak
    Ravage
    Reflector

    Devastator (Team) (Combiner Wars)

    Ramjet
    Thrust
    Dirge
    Astrotrain

For me - CW Devastator is acceptable. The other CW bots are not, without major add on kits.

So yeah, that's way closer than I was thinking until I went looking. Thanks to Hasbro for focusing. Now, FINISH IT! :)

    This. x10000000.

The CW toys do not combine well. Menasor uses same crap combiner design we saw in Power Core Combiners, circa 2010. That's sad. Hasbro did not push the design envelope, AND they used lower quality plastic that snaps more.

The result is bad design and poor plastic creating floppy mess combiners, which clearly suffer from being done on the cheap. I get the budget constraints.

But as u said, Devastator was done well. So go Titan, or don't bother, Hasbro. Making cheap combiners (sold at a premium to us!) is not a good compromise.

Excellent pictures as always. I am actually contemplating selling off most of my official and 3rd party MPs since WFC has given me a far wider selection at greatly reduced cost and all the G1 nostalgia. I can actually play with the kids and toss them all in a tub for storage without fear of breakage.

That's part of the reason that kept me from going the MP route. I was always worried that I'd never be able to get my collection completed at that scale. In CHUG, there was a far greater chance I could find the more rare guys.
