Trying to figure out which bayverse figures I could use for beast wars autorollers. So far I have 2 in mind. Any suggestions with in bayverse.

The Autorollers consist of:

Autostinger, leader, ex-mercenary and dump truck.
Autocrusher, oldest member and payloader.
Autojetter, youngest member and F/A-18 fighter jet.
Autolauncher, skilled Discmaster and armored personnel carrier.

Generic Cybertronians from Soundblaster scene? (Siege)

 

Was looking for a repurpose of Netflix Elita-1 since she doesn’t fit my image of Elita.

Was thinking of Vibes. Color is a bit off, but she has the horns. I’m also considering an Autobot version of Thunderblast, or Strika before she got buff.

 

Gigawatt as Vector Prime.

 

Just realized Sentinel Prime could be autolauncher, since it is the closest thing to a carrier.

 

Works better as Alchemist imo, due to the stocky body and bespectacled face.

 

With SG Prime and Ratchet coming out, I've been trying to bolster a sort of SG collection. I've got Siege Netflix Mirage and PotP Rodimus Unicronus to slap some SG labels on. But I was wondering, are there any figures that could be repurposed into SG characters? I'm talking about with no (or at the very least minimal) paint or customization. Like you could slap a reprolabel on it and say "That's my SG Soundwave." What do you all think?

Shattered Glass Toyline

If you scroll down on this TFWiki page to the “Repurposed Toys” section, there are a bunch of pre-existing figures that have been semi-officially repurposed as SG versions of various characters (or whose color schemes inspired the SG versions, like white Music Label Soundwave). You might even already own some of them!  

As for things not listed... you could take almost any Jazz and make them SG with a label change and a paint tweak or two, since SG Jazz had a paint job very similar to his G1 version.

For Prowl, his SG version is based on “Mexican Prowl," which would be achievable either with a bit of minor paint work and/or some parts-swapping with Barricade.

Any black Bumblebee could work as SG Bumblebee/Goldbug. Like maybe that black RiD repaint they did?

 

I have made subjections in previous posts. Just go back some pages you will see some good ones.

 

Thanks, I see that. Glancing back through here I'm thinking I may take a 35th Siege Megatron, give it the black helmet stickers from the Toyhax set, and make it my SG Megatron. I'm also thinking about Classics Jetfire to go with him for SG Starscream. Anybody tried that yet? (I'm sure they have)

One more question. Can you swap heads between Earthrise Ratchet and Siege Soundwave? Or do you have to do some finagling to make that happen?

 

Would a TR Kup and any specific Titan master work for a SG Soundwave? Or would that be too wierd?

 

I really do not see that working. My suggestion in a previous post was SG Ratchet with a Siege Soundwave head.

 

Will the two heads fit? I attempted to see if I could remove Siege Soundwave’s head but I couldn’t get it to come off the ball joint. Another idea was maybe LG Brainstorm with a Shapeways Soundwave titan master. Perhaps also the wings could be removed, though that might give it a SG Cybertron Soundwave vibe.

 

Pre-BM Strika makes sense. Weren't Strika and Obsidian's personalities based on/are the originals in-universe from the Great War or something? I think I saw a picture on TFWiki about some background character from the original show was repurposed as the "G1" version of her.

Also, maybe a Combiner Wars as a Great War Obsidian to go along with Strika.

 

Beast Hunters Megatron = SG Depthcharge?

 

I don't know... when I think of Strika I think of someone who can pick you up and plant your face into the ground with no effort. There's almost something wrong with thinking she was a supermodel pre-war. When you think 'Strika' you think 'Strength.' Netflix Elita evokes a gymnastics type fighter (like Catwoman).

It's pretty much cheating, but Runabout as TF Prime style Vehicon and Runamuck as Vehicon General.

 

She does looks pretty buff. Maybe potp elita one works better imo. But either way, both figures work though.
