My thf dynastron has a bent gun barrel. It was like this out of the box. Has anyone else had this problem and is there anyway to fix it?

That's good news for those who have been waiting for the IT-01 reissue to drop.
[Pre-Order] Infinite Transformation IT-01 Emperor of Destruction Megatron

ShowZ's listing says that the reissue's arm cannon has Japanese voice clips only and no English voice clips. Isn't there a 3p company that makes the standalone canon with English voice clips (and backplate cover)??

Hmm...my IT-01's plastic is starting to show signs of yellowing. Not super noticeable yet, but I'm afraid it'll get worse.

I wonder if I should replace it with the THF, because I'm reluctant to buy another IT-01 if it might turn yellow again. But online reviews keep bringing up inconsistent colors in THF version's gun mode. I wonder, could anyone here lend an opinion about how the colors look on the THF version in both robot mode and gun mode? Also I heard it's a little smaller than IT-01. Is that true? How does it compare to TE-01 or MP-44?

Also, anyone who's already had some yellowing on IT-01...does it always get worse after the initial yellowness starts showing? Like is it something that always spreads, or is there a chance it'll just stop at it's current level?

I’ve got thf dynastron and the mp 44 ko and dynastron is about the the same size or taller depending on how you pose them.

Well I got mine off of ebay so I don't know when it was made. Are the ones from the upcoming reissue on Showzstore gonna be safe from that problem?

How do his paint apps look in gun mode?

Sorry I meant can you post a pic of where it's actually bent. I can tell it's sitting at an angle, but I can't see why.

I've watched many, many reviews of THF-03 VS IT-01 and I don't recall anyone saying THF was smaller at all. They're both 1:1 KOs of the original mold and thus should be identical.

The paint apps on THF are great in both bot and alt mode. I don't see any significant difference in color in either mode.

IT is a bit taller than both THF and Takara.

The little plastic bits inside the shoulders and a couple bits in his back. Not very visible in either mode, but it's concerning.

To my understanding IT-01 has an anti-scratch clear coat applied to it which makes me curious if the yellowing may not be caused by sunlight but an odd chemical reaction to the clear coat being applied to the bare plastic parts.

just a thought as I haven’t had the chance to see the figure in hand but always thought it was odd the areas that yellowed and how short of time the yellowing occurred.

I would be equally suspicious of the clear coat itself yellowing. Or is it applied everywhere?

Yeah. If anyone has a copy that has extreme yellowing AND it looks like the clear coat is applied to those parts... I’d be curious to see what would happen if you took a cotton swab with 91% isotope alcohol and tried rub the clear coat off and if it revealed the natural color of the plastic.

That's a nice Theory but the only yellowing I see on my copy is on the parts with no clear coat, like the inner wrists or the neck ball joint. But it doesn't really bother me either

Just checked today on mine too. Some hinges on the back, neck joint the inner wrists and shoulder joints as well.
I moved them (not that gently) and there doesnt seem to be a problem....
I also had him in storage for more than a year and never transformed him. Only pulled him out once from the box and inspected him.

IDK whats at fault, but maybe it has to do with humidity?

Has anyone observed any brittleness or breakage on the yellowing parts?
I suppose when a better replacement to this mold comes, I wont sell him (as I intended originally) but transform him to gun mode and have him on display...
