    Earthrise Arcee today...

After 17 years, it's nice to have a toy that can actually hold reissue Megatron's sword.

I have both, I appreciate you can position the shoulder flaps differently to set them apart. There aren't many complex transformations like it anymore.

Very nice. Hope to add them to my own collection at some point.

Very nice diorama. Nice to see Perceptor and Chase among the lineup.

One of the first non G1 figures I got. Despite no knee articulation, he's one of my favourite figures. Always wanted a Motormaster repaint.

Today's favourite is symptomatic of a large collection and a reminder of how good most of us actually have things.

I picked him and Sixshot up at TFNation in 2018 for £20 each which felt like a bargain. Sixshot has gotten plenty of attention but Sky Shadow hasn't I'm afraid to say and it's due to a lack of fiction or even tech specs. The G1 tech specs ensured every figure had a defined character and elevated it above being just a transforming robot.

The thing is Sky Shadow is an excellent toy but against characters with more exposure in various fictions, he doesn't compare. Hasbro really knew what they were doing in the 80s.

He's a great figure, large and imposing with two excellent vehicle modes, enhanced by being capable of piloted by the Titanmaster. I've 6 young nieces and nephews and over the years, it's always the Titans Return figures they keep asking to play with when they visit.

But I digress, without further ado, I give you Titans Return Sky Shadow...

He reminds me of the Senate security forces in Megatron: Origin. It's a true shame he wasn't retooled as Thunderwing.

Fireblasts work for figures other than just ones from the WFC trilogy...
