Glad I will have a completed DX9 Menasor tomorrow. I skipped XTB Gravestone because the proportions look too much like Mp-10, now this slap in the face price for a wonky proportioned, stubby legged Menasor. No Thanks Keith.

 

Yeah, please keep going on to convince yourself and make XTB/ibot even happier since they have such loyal customer, soon Keith can afford penthouse in NY .  

And let me remind you again what you said ---"DX9's Menasor is beyond horrible to me, no matter the price.", when I suggested people can use DX9 Mensaor to hold XTB limbs. Now all these "facts" you trying to convinces yourself is not about DX9 Menasor, they are the DX9 stunicons members' shortcoming in your mind.

 

This is why I am dropping them. I don't want to be 4-5 bots in and then have them go, ok look go spend another $300 to make it combine. Even if they adjust the price on the trailer and guns down the road, it doesn't matter, I will not buy another one of their products again. I just went and canceled my other XTB preorders.

 

I'm thinking about selling too. I was definitely under the impression that the accessories were included with the trailer. So a complete Motomaster (that matches MP-10 in engineering) is over $350? I'll wait to see what overseas sellers list it for but this is a sad situation.

 

And what does that have to do exactly with the looks of those two?

 

You know what would have made this more acceptable? Include the shells with the trailer, and add in dragstrip upper body pieces for the extra pack. Everyone had some breakage with him it seems, so including spare parts would have made sense.

 

Wow, If XTB's clearly looked better then DX9 it might be worth it, but it has me thinking about putting that $300+ for the trailer toward a DX9 set. XTB has nice accessories but the proportions just aren't as good and that might be the most important thing. I can't believe the Menasor faces are in the $75 accessory pack, haha damn. If anything I'll be picking this up on ebay, I won't be supporting the XTB price fix conglomerate

 

lol TFS-Express just said on Facebook that XTB told them they can't continue offering the $30 store credit for Locke, so don't set your expectations too high about similar discounts for the trailer, that's the icing on the cake of pricing nonsense.

Wait wait wait. Are we 100% sure that the trailer won't come with at least one face for Menasor? Frankly I can skip the accessory pack entirely if the trailer will have one face.

TBH, I'd be okay with the trailer and the price.

But it not including most of those accessories - ESPECIALLY the car shells, since EVERY. SINGLE. PICTURE. we've seen of combined mode always had the shells, that's pure bait-and-switch.

I hate people. They want things at premium quality for dirt cheap and LIFE DOESNT WORK LIKE THAT! as it stands XTB are selling their combiner at roughly 600 usd plus and additional 75 usd if you want the OPTIONAL accessory kit. My beloved FT combiner will be closer to 700 usd and dX9 is closer to 550. Their price is right in the middle and it’s their price, get with it or get lost!

 

Aesthetics. They reworked everything so much that, they forgot to scale. Dumbasses.

 

This is just like the Hobbit movies. "Keith, how can we turn Motormaster into a shared universe of 3 or more releases? Surely there can only be 2 right, the trailer and the truck?"..... "No, my child. There is a third path that involves enough bullshit to justify an additional purchase equivalent to an additional team member. Open your mind to the possibilities of a metric shit-ton of accessories like the world has never known!"

 

XTB is hardly premium quality. I'm happy for you that you think so.
