It's actually three months since "Obsidian's Lament" began, but two months passed between OL and "The Recruit", which itself took place in a single evening. At this point in the story, it's been about a month since the beginning of that story.

I have a hard time keeping the timeline straight myself sometimes.

As for the Council, again I volunteer crappy webcam pics for them should they show.

 

Maybe Wreckloose just pronounced it wrong.  

They may show up, but not in the way you think. I appreciate the offer as always, and if you want to send me a webcam picture of the Tripreds, I'll hang on to it.

I think Wreckloose is going to tell the council about the Oracle and convince them to use it to their advantage.

I have to slow down while making these things. I'm just making too many spelling errors lately.

He's gambling, which by it's very nature is risky. He's banking more on Wreckloose not being able to resist the lure of power than he is on Cheetor being stupid enough to lead him to the Oracle. He and Strika will have words about this again, very soon. She thinks it was an unwarranted gamble and favors direct action, as we've seen in her past discussions with Obsidian.

Strika may be right about the foolishness of his actions. Who knows? As several people have noticed, Obsidian is not quite as thoughtful and deliberate as he was to start with.

For all you guys who thought Wreckloose was being genuinely cooperative... this ought to put pay to that notion.  

 

Well, if either Wreckloose's or Obsidian's plan goes haywire in a way or another, there's a good chance it'll work more or less better for the other one, even if just by coincidence or long-term gambling plan that counts on things getting' screwy due to... nah, lets just say it'll work itself out for one of'em if not for the other XD
