I've always had a certain fondness for Tap-Out, as BotCon '02 was the only one I was able to attend. Wanting to add a version of him to my modern collection, I thought TF: Prime Sergeant Kup had the look of a brawler and was pretty close to the right color.

I removed the yellow stripes, repainted around his grille and wheels, and replaced his head. The donor was an Earthrise Cliffjumper, modified to use Sgt Kup's neck and repainted. I also leave him partially mistransformed in robot mode, to recreate the shorter stature of the original minibot.

Ooooh that is genius....I have this fig stuck on my shelf as MTMTE Dipstick, but now I absolutely need a Cliffjumper head.

This works so well! Really good job on colour matching.

I used this mold to make a Lost Light Dipstick. Good to see another use for him found!

    Thanks, guys!

I was originally disappointed because it came out a bit lighter than the plastic, but once I dropped the shoulder piece into place it suddenly looked much better.

I have little love for this mold, but you found a way to make it shine. Nice work!

I had totally bought another cliffjumper thinking I was going to paint him mint/teal/light green/whatever you wanna call Tap-out's color but now this works so much better. I'm really glad I decided to re-visit Radicons as I haven't been here in weeks or months even I've been so busy.
    Thank you.

I used this mold for my version of Brawn, with the Brawn Titan Master. I really dig what you did with this!
