That Psycho 5 pack really left a bad taste in all our mouths didn't it?

They weren't actually controlled by Grumm.... They actually chose to turn against S.P.D., they're the only "evil rangers" not to be mind controlled or brainwashed, they legitimately switched sides...

I can't wait for them to reveal a MMPR 6 pack with Green having the white diamonds painted on after begrudgingly buying the retail version!

Agreed, but I think it was the driver bit that hooked me. Having mechs drive mechs is kind of cool, even if the overall design is a little wonky.

Thankfully, it's all rumors right now.

    this monster scale thing...

I bet it was Hasbro trying to justify the cost of manufacturing...

they would be too expensive to make in the standard lightning format, but if they charged 'deluxe' prices for regular sized monsters people would revolt, so they beefed them up to justify the 'deluxe' pricing...

If that happened I wouldn't bother as unlike the Psychos, the A squad is not super important to me.

Hey you know what, if they fix some of the other issues with all of the rangers and include new accessories, I'll rebuy it.

At this point the only way I'll buy LC is if I ever find Zeo Gold, or in full team sets. Tracking down exclusives and vs packs to build teams is exhausting knowing now that the possibility of a single giftset exists. Why even bother?

I would consider it but honestly there would have to be major changes. Other than some small missing paint apps on the helmets I don't know what they could do to change them. Also owning the 5 base MMPR makes it way harder cause I don't like owning duplicates (looks at my 3 psycho reds, thanks hasbro  )

Well they could definitely fix the helmets for red and blue to make them more show accurate.

Is he rare in your area? He's collecting dust at a few of my Targets and Walmarts, which is why none of them are getting in any new product. Him, BM Blue, MMPR Red, BM Blaze, BM Gold, DC Black, Manga Defender, Time Red, and Zeo Blue. One Walmart also has 4 Zedds.

I hated Tommy ever since he stole Kimberly from us, so this display is a welcome sight :p

Good to see the lively discussion on the PR fandom, one should never settle for less especially regarding companies with billions of dollars in profit.

Truth of the matter is, silver linings and all, the sculpt on the monsters doesn't convince me. I still prefer the 93 King Sphinx Bandai figure, (minus the articulation) and the 93 goldar (more accurate to Grifforzer). It comes down to a matter of preference, but the missing paint on KS is comparable to the missing paint on DT white ranger, it just throws off the look completely. Plus the eyes on both Goldar and Sphinx are too 'squinty', they should be larger and more bulging.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a multi-pack of the metallic armors.

Hopefully the Tengu warriors and Cogs aren’t sized up to 7” height for the $30 line.

I’ll take metallic movie armored figures...at least of Tommy

See, that's exactly what I'm worried about now. I really don't want guys Rito, Squatt, Baboo, Finster, Ivan Ooze, Scorpina, etc. to be 7" and out of scale with Rita, Zedd, and Goldar.

I'd be fine with Rito being bigger, like these monsters, he could pass as being a little more menacing/larger of a figure

Scorpina or a cog? That'd be weird

Well, if they're going to do Rito "a little bigger" than they really need to redo Goldar in the new subline as well. There's no "camera trickery" or whatever else everyone is trying to justify King Sphinx with involved with those two in their side by side shots from the series being the same height as each other. Frankly, I'm hoping now that Warden is over them the team will start using some common sense.

I am one of the people that think a monster should be a little bigger than the team, for the presence/threat imagery. The shows were limited to what you could do with a guy in a costume. These monsters deserve to be a little bulkier and taller than the people they're going to fight 1 vs 5. And you see a lot more size variation in the comics.

Rito took out the thunder Zords and is a giant half camo skeleton soldier. He can be half a head taller than the rangers. It's fitting.

If that's the direction they want to go fine. But they need to remake Goldar then for consistency within the line if that's the case.
